@shadowcrossing I managed to figure it out: apparently it wasn't working on my computer at home, but the formatting box does show on my work computer; so I was able to paste the sample chapters as I originally intended! Thanks for the vote, by the way!
@shadowcrossing yeah I just meant things like italics and bold and such; can you tell me how? I checked the help section and saw a bunch of other users asking similar questions, and a few commented on how there used to be a box to select those options while you typed but that it's gone now; and I do not see any such box or any kind of options when either pasting or typing directly into the wattpad text input box. If I'm missing something, please let me know; I'd love to just put the first two chapters here directly!
Thanks, still trying to figure out how I'll make best use of this platform; I was directed here as a means of promoting my recently self-published book, but I'll have to come up with alternative ways of doing so here as simply copy/pasting samples won't work without enhanced formatting options (such as italics).
