Anime_Respect

Hello, and thank you for coming to look at out page! 

This is ProjectAnimeRespect. On Wattpad today, we look around and see graphic designers, Wattpad HQ itself, contests, and the like ignoring anime covers, and books. Now as many of you may or may not know, anime graphics and the like are not just for fanfiction. 

Many books, including my own, have anime covers but they are not fanfition. I personally have been told dozens of times that my books are not "real" books because of this. I've also been told the covers are just "kid stuff." So on Wattpad, their is a major stereotype about Anime covers and books throughout the community. 

Now should this be? Many authors, even one's on the hot 1000 have very artistic covers that look like the characters were painted,  and some have ones made solely from Wattpad Covers! Just because our's sometimes have big eyes they can't be respected as a legitimate story? Why can't one of ours be in the top 500 of a genre besides fanfiction? 

Their are so many good designers of anime, and so many great stories. Why should we avoid them because of their cover? 

Here, our goal is to make anime something people will respect as a form of artistic expression. Hopefully also to have one or two of these amazing stories to rise higher in the hot1000. These stories deserve more recognition, and we hope to give it to them.
