@SFMahbub no, i totally get you! i've had experiences where a sequel of a novel felt like a fanfic-y imitation of the original haha (cough cough revenge wears prada)

@rooneystories I know, that's why I was worried I my words were even making sense. Like the sequel to to fanfiction would seem like fanfiction???

@SFMahbub thanks for the kind words! i'll post a few chapters, and i'd really appreciate feedback on what you think about the continuation of the story :) also, while the plot of the story itself was my original idea, it's heavily influenced by existing stories like Carol and fictionalizes the actress Cate Blanchett as a character - just wanted to clarify on that point :)
