GREETINGS EARTHLINGS, I HAVE RETURNED.
          
          Ahead of schedule, too! Well, almost. I’ve still got my hands full with a lot to do, but the original—and now polished—first chapter is up! As well as the updated prefaces, too.
          
          Thank you all for your patience and understanding as I go through this rewrite. I’m already much more satisfied writing back in all the gritty details and jarring subplots that I was too scared to post originally, out of fear of having too much going on.
          
          But I realize now that without these things, it’s not the story I want to tell.
          
          I wrote out a couple characters when I first starting posting on Wattpad back in February, and I’ve regretted it ever since. Adding them back in feels like the right choice, and I hope in time, you guys will agree. You can get a sneak peak of them in the new Character Aesthetics section.
          
          I hope Ronan’s new introduction serves its purpose as intended.

Mini Rant:
          
          I apologize in advance for venting, but I need to get this off my chest.
          
          What’s the point of commenting on a dark romance R4R inquiry… if you don’t like dark romance?
          
          I literally go out of my way to try and only engage and interact with people who are either dark romantics themselves, or can at least handle mature content. Yet, somehow, the neurotypicals (derogatory) still find me.
          
          I advertise my WIP as a dual POV yandere romance.
          
          “I don’t like dual POV’s. I don’t know what a yandere is. I don’t like smut. I don’t like violence. I don’t like gore.”
          
          Bro, then what the hell are you bothering me for? I gave apt warning and advertised appropriately. What more do you want? I literally always write in my ad posts “Please read the Author’s Note before agreeing to R4R with me!”
          
          And what’s even more insulting to my intelligence, are the people who skip multiple chapters—like I’m not gonna notice. Then have the audacity to comment “I’m lost, what’s going on?”
          
          Duh! Of course you are. I read 30 freaking chapters of your contemporary romance or fantasy book, and you think skipping three or four or even five of mine is fair?
          
          I’m sorry for venting, I just needed to blow off steam. It honestly actually hurts my feelings when I’m made to feel like a freak in my own space.
          
          I’m just frustrated and feeling overly sensitive.

          It’s 10:45 PM and I just chugged three 8 oz. sugar-free Red Bulls following a double bartending shift to publish this chapter after being MIA for two weeks. KA-CHOW!
          
          I really wish I could promise you guys a clear, concise updating schedule—but we both know I won’t stick to it, even if I did.
          
          I’ll be resuming my R4R’s today until I inevitably crash and burn from irresponsible caffeine consumption and sleep deprivation.
          
          Chapter 34: Talk Daddy To Me is now live.

          I’ll be spending the afternoon catching up on R4R’s since this is the first weekend day I’ve had off from work since December. Woohoo!
          
          Chapter 33: Sunshine may or may not be out tonight.
          
          I’m feeling antsy about some of the highly anticipated but equally disturbing scenes that pertain to Ro’s… issues, we’ll call them. I’m about to just say fuck it and post what I’ve got, but I do try really hard to only publish work that I’m happy with, despite this entire book being a “first draft.”
