Nathan Caldwell

Welcome to my profile!  I hope you enjoy what you find!

In a few words, my name is Nathan and I'm first and foremost a Christian.  I try to pursue Godliness and humility in this life, but I find that it is impossible.  It's in this impossibility that we learn to focus on God and let Him change us from the inside out.  I used to believe in a Christianity that was focused on displaying an outward form of righteousness.  If I could make others believe that I was holy, then I could believe that I was living the Christian life.  Thankfully, God has reminded me of my inability to keep up that selfish charade, and even though I've been through many struggles, as a testament to the wondrous, mysterious love of our Lord, I've emerged a stronger, more grateful follower, now truly to be able to know what it means to rest in God's restoring grace.  There is no room for grace in legalism.  

Some other things about me:

I'm studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
I love to travel.
My preferred genre is Spiritual, you won't see me deviate from that very often.
I was born in Kansas, and I wish to live there when I get out of college, but everyday God is reminding me that His plan for my life is greater than my desires.
I love to play Ultimate Frisbee and ride my bicycle.  I wish I had more time outside of school to do those things.
I believe in gentlemen, and I believe in ladies.  I believe in chivalrous gentlemen saving their hearts, souls, and minds for The One God has chosen for them.  I believe in modest ladies who are mindful of the way they dress, act, and speak.  I believe in both searching for God before they search for each other. 

I'm really passionate about helping out other people, so please, if you ever want to talk about something spiritual, something unrelated, or even if you just want to vent, I understand and would be happy to listen to you.
