The Weeknd really hits different late at night when you're just laying on your bed, allowing your thoughts to consume you.
          
          A little update so far, things are.... hectic honestly. 
          
          I'm tired and burnt out, and the second semester rolling in is really a huge kick in the butt. I don't even have the motivation to study let alone write. 
          
          I will be going on a hiatus until school ends, to be honest. Preparations for my final exams toward the end of the year is happening and it's super exhausting bc the work doubled and I barely have the time to write anymore. 
          
          It's honestly upsetting bc I love Starlight so much and I want to continue it but once I open up the chapter, I physically can't. I'm sorry to disappoint any readers that are waiting for an update, but there probably won't be any till my final exams are all taken.
          
          Even after the exams, I'll be taking some time to recollect myself before starting to write again. My mind needs a break bc for me to write Starlight, I need to feel free and unburdened with any issues bc Starlight holds a special place in my heart.
          
          Anyway, I hope you all lovely people are doing amazing, until next time <3

Just popping in to say today's my birthdayyyy, hehe

Hey guys, sorry for being inactive for a bit of a while. Honestly, I'm planning to be on a break for a little bit and not interact much on this platform as much as I used to due to how much time it takes, and it only drains me even more. I know I have mutuals books that I promised to read, I will, but for now I cannot summon the time nor energy to do so. 
          
          I will continue writing as I have no plans to leave Starlight unfinished, but I'll only be writing little by little until publishing a chapter. I'm terribly sorry for the long pauses in between, I'm trying my hardest to shorten it but as you can see it's pretty inconsistent. However, even if you don't see a chapter for a while, please don't think I've abandoned the book--I haven't, I'm just taking a longer time to write.
          
          So you won't be hearing from me for a while such as on announcements, books, and interacting with my mutuals (I'm sorry guys, I love you all). I will try to pop in every now and then, but I don't want anyone to think I've gone completely. And I will make up for all the books I've planned to read, it will just take some time.
          
          Thank you for everyone who has supported me up until now, I appreciate and love each and every one of you.

          idk when I'll be updating Starlight but I'm honestly I'm taking time while writing chapt 20 so it will take a while till chapt 10 is posted!
