Hey, everyone. Wow. Who knew moving would be so time-consuming? I moved a year ago--A FRAKKING YEAR--and things are only just now starting to settle. Pretty sure the remaining boxes will never be unpacked at this point.... But I'm really looking forward to getting back to Wattpad soon, especially @ArdenBrooks 's amazing series which I will need to go back and reread from the beginning. ;)
To all the people who've voted and commented on Wile E in the past few months--I'm sorry I'm only just seeing your comments! But know that they are all appreciated, and I'm going back through all my notifications now.
          	Happy reading and writing, everyone.

@wednesdaymccool Oh, wow. Somehow, I totally missed this, even though you tagged me. And I just sent you a message, too, cuz I was like, Dang, I miss that lady. Looking right at your profile and still didn't see this. XD

We're starting our third year in this house, and I've become convinced things will never be settled. We'll move before settling can be brought to fullness.

There's still a lot of my series left -- and the prose just gets worse and worse as it goes on -- so uh... You know. No rush on that. XD

Welp, I took a one week break from WP (and social media in general) to get ahead on some projects, and it ended up stretching into two months! Sorry if you commented and didn't hear back from me...I'm gonna try to catch up asap. :)

ArdenBrooks

@wednesdaymccool Hey, you're back! Glad to hear from you again. I was starting to wonder if you were okay!

Hope your social media sabbatical was productive and restorative. :D

Wile E is now marked "complete!" Thanks so much for sticking around for this. Now I'm hoping to find more time to read other people's WP stories instead. :)

RainerSalt

@wednesdaymccool Congratulations. The Myth of Wile E is a unique, wonderful piece of work. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Hey everyone! I want to apologize for not being on Wattpad very much lately (professional obligations have been eating up all my time). I know I've been really really slow responding to comments, but please know that I appreciate all of them!

The chapter I just posted is the third to last (I believe that's called "antepenultimate," for you word nerds), which means Wile E officially wraps up THIS WEEK. :) :)

wednesdaymccool

@ArdenBrooks Oh my. And to think I worry that I sound pretentious if I use "less" and "fewer" correctly....

@wednesdaymccool I took a 19th C Brit Lit class right before I changed my major to Linguistics, and the lecturer was this erudite English woman with a catalogue's fashion flair. She spoke passionately about the fundamental insecurity of the Victorians, their changing society, the pre-Raphaelites, the longing for the past and pastoral, and she once used the word "antepenultimate" without a hint of irony or self-consciousness, as if that's just a thing you do.

Looking forward to the impending end! But I'm still sad about the trees.
