CHAPTER - 25

SHRUTI'S POV

I'm currently at the Singhania mansion.

It's been so long since I've seen di. I'm so excited to meet her again.

I'm happy that she's doing well here.

I was worried when yesterday Jiju asked me to come here to cheer di up.

I entered the hall when I saw Di fainting.

"Diiii"

"Adhira" Zaisha didi shouted

What shocked me was the whole family was there. They had fear-stricken faces.

I ran to di,

I tapped her face and even Zaisha bhabhi sprinkled some water on her face.

"I'm calling the Doctor, take her to the room, "Advik Bhaiya says

Siddharth carries her to the room. He held her so close to him.

The doctor checked Di and told us that it was just because of weakness and that she needed plenty of rest.

Jiju didn't leave Di's side until she woke up.

"Shru.."I hear Di's voice

As soon as Jiju hears her voice he leaves the room.

I give her some water to drink and then help her sit,

Di chuckles but the one which is lifeless

"Ask what you want shru."She says caressing my cheek

Before I could speak anything the others rushed in.

I leave the room giving them space

I see the Uncle and Jiju in the living room.

I take my seat.

I could sense the tension

"I thought di was happy here"I break the silence.My voice came out harsh than I expected it to.

Jiju sighs and explains to me about all the events that took place in the past few days.

'Is it what I think it is?'

"You know something don't you?"Jiju asks me noticing my expressions.

I gulp.

I gave him Di's phone which was full of messages from one particular number especially.

"Someone's threatening Di, the messages look like it, "I say to him as I read a few recent messages.

He snatches the mobile from my hands and swipes through those messages.

He stops suddenly.

I look at him confused.

He gives me the phone.

I could feel the fear creep up in my heart.

"This can't be happening, No Di can't know this"I start pacing around the room.

My eyes welled up with tears.

Uncle snatches the phone and reads the messages and then he calms me down.

"Beta, It's ok relax. She's your di. Nothing is going to happen  "Uncle says

"Since when? Since when do you know this?"Jiju asks me calmly

"Almost a year now"I reply to him

"Do you have any idea who this could be or anyone you can think of who knows about this?"He asks me

I shake my head indicating a no.

"Shruti forget everything. Don't talk about this to anyone. Just go spend some time with Adhira. All will be ok. You trust me right?"He says

"Yes" I reply to him

"I promise, "He says 

I nod and then he leaves.

"Everything will be fine. Don't worry about all this"Uncle says

I give him a weak smile.
