CHAPTER 42
ARIANA LINCOLN
I was impatiently waiting at a cafe. The entire cafe had Aless's men.
I have to do this for Aless.
"Will you calm down?" A voice came to my ear.
I was wearing a headset, and Aless was with me on the call.
"I am perfectly fine." I replied.
"No you aren't. You are nervous Ari, it's visible."
"I don't think I can do this."
"Stop being nervous, will you?"
"He might have a gun."
"Not might, he will have a gun."
I stood up instantly from my seat "No. I am not doing this."
"Ari, sit down."
I looked around to see where he was. From where is he keeping an eye on me? Literally he is noticing my each and every move.
"Stop looking for me, you won't find me."
I sat back down.
"Jesus! If anything happens to me please be with my son." I prayed.
"Why are you so dramatic?"
"I am dramatic? I shouldn't have agreed to this." I whisper-yelled.
"You can still back out, I will figure something out."
Nope. I am not backing out.
You have done so much for me, I think I can atleast do this much for you.
"And you'll tell everyone that Ariana D'Angelo is a coward, nope not happening."
There was silence on the other side for a complete two minutes.
"What did you say?"
"What?"
"You said Ariana D'Angelo."
"I know what I said Aless."
"Meaning, we are sorted."
"About that, I need some more efforts from you." I said leaning my back against the chair.
"What efforts?"
"I don't know, you made a mistake, surprise me."
"You know right, I am very bad with surprises."
I shrugged "But last time I remember, I loved it."
"Will you two stop?" Another voice broke in.
Shit! I forgot Diego too was on the call.
"We are in a serious situation and you both are just talking bullshit."
"What do you think? Shouldn't Aless surprise me and do something unexpected?" I asked Diego.
"Ariana, be serious."
"I am serious. Dead serious."
"This can be dangerous." He said.
I rolled my eyes.
This dude doesn't know what Ariana is capable of doing.
Sigh...
"I think she can handle it, Diego." Aless replied.
I smirked.
