I managed to change into my simple light blue dress and attached a matching blue and white clip to my hair while baby Amelia was strapped into a carrier in my chest
Whenever I tried to put her down or give her back to her mom she would start crying and want to be back in my arms
So I happily accepted her
while Greta haloed me to wrap the baby carrier around my shoulders to set her in, I looked down and she had already fallen asleep
her cute rosy cheeks pressing against my chest while her long natural lashes were stunning. I smiled and placed a soft kiss on her forehead before I started greeting the guests
They bought gifts so I just let them put them in the living room. Then I saw the parents of the twins
I felt nervous, but this wasn't my first time meeting their mom. She likes me but I don't know about their dad
But Simone noticed me and smiled at me, signing me to come over. I took a step forward and smiled at Jörg, their father
Simone smiled at me warmingly before turning back to Jörg
" I want you to meet Adeline, Tom's girlfriend " she introduces.
He smiled at me and shook my hand, the nervousness in me washed away
" I've been eager to meet you, Adeline, Tom told me a lot of things about you, you are a kind and generous woman. And I want to thank you for starting and loving my son " He explained.
Part of me wants to tear up by his kind words, but I hold them back
" t-thank you. The twins will be very happy to see that you both came for their birthday " I said
and Simone let out a chuckle while holding the glass of champagne in her hands
" of course, this celebration wouldn't gonna happened without you, so thank you so much for everything you did Adeline, " She says and holds my both hands, I smiled
" take care of my son, will you? "

When Gustav messaged me that they were on their way to go back to the apartment
I felt very excited as I helped the kids go down from the bed they thanked me and ran outside.
Amelia was sleeping soundly in my chest and I didn't bother her
Kate told everyone to be quiet and prepare,
Henri and the other guy both stood at the sides of the door holding party poppers, we all stood together as I helped Simone and Jörg lit the candle in the cakes that they were both holdings.
The kids were giggling quietly while Greta held them
Grandpa Ben turned off the lights and everyone went quiet, waiting for the footsteps to be heard. I smiled and held Amelia, then we heard multiple footsteps
*boom!*
" Surprise! "
The lights turned on and the confetti flew everywhere
Tom and Bill's faces were in you're shock and happiness when they saw everyone, but mostly their parents together.
Everyone begins singing the Happy Birthday song in German as their parents hold each cake in their hands, Tom gets a blue cake while Bill gets a black one. Everyone cheered as they blew the candles
" you're here? " Bill asked shockingly to their dad
Jörg nodded his head and smiled at him. But my heart melted when the twins both hugged their father tightly
Simone smiled at the scene while her new husband Gordon wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
The twins pulled away and Tom turned to me with the biggest smile on his face
He noticed Amelia strapped into my chest so he gave me a soft hug, placing a kiss on my temples
" thank you " he whispered, I smiled tearfully and caressed his back
" I love you " was the words that came out of my mouth.
He pulled away and smiled, his eyes staying on me, staring at me with adore in his eyes.
Our moment was cut off when their other family members began to give them hugs
When Amelia finally woke up, Greta took her so I could finally move around. Everyone begins getting their food while Kate stays behind me
" you wouldn't gonna eat? " she asked, I took a sip of the wine and shook my head.
" I'm still full... How are Catherine and Uncle Steve in Los Angeles? " I asked. It's been a while and I still call them once or twice a week
it was good to hear their voice and some news that's been happening in the city
" Mom met a guy, who is nice and caring, and they began dating. Uncle Steve is still Uncle Steve " Kate replies and I laugh at her
" their concert is tomorrow. Don't you have any plans to finally announce your relationship in the public? " she asks.
Then I thought about it, there are rumors that a picture of me and Tom was leaked on the internet but I didn't mind it since I haven't opened my social media for a long time now
I shrugged my shoulder
" I'm not sure. I mean, we've been together for a long time now " I replied and she nodded her head.
But I froze in my spot when feeling his familiar eyes snaked around my waist
Kate rolled her eyes playfully before leaving us to have a time together
" You look beautiful " Tom whispered and placed a kiss on my cheeks
I blushed, and the smile on my face couldn't go away
I turned around and faced him, he smiled down at me and cupped my cheek
" When I saw you with Amelia, it made me realize that someday, you'll be the best mom for our kids. And I'm happy because I chose the right woman to be the mother of my children " Tom says, my throat went dry and my entire face went red
He laughed at my reaction and gently crushed his lips to mine, I closed my eyes and felt his cold lip ring.
At the same time, the fireworks exploded in the night sky
