Wheres Catnap?

DogDays pov:

It was the afternoon, and all the smiling critters were outside playing tag, but something looked off about our group, so I called everyone up and counted. Bubba.. hoppy and... Catnap?  Huh, where's Catnap "Guys have you seen catnap?" Everyone look at each other, shaking their head no until Bobby bear hug spoke up." I think I saw him go the woods pass my Hamick when we were playing."  I looked at her confused because it would be a little late to be out in the woods. Crafty spoke up, " Let's go look for him to make sure he's ok because it is a little late out. "Yeah, you're right, c'mon guys, let's go,

We all split up because we know these woods are not a dangerous place and more of a calm and peaceful environment. I am walking through the woods kicking sticks that are on the ground "man it feels like I been walking forever." I groaned until a nice warm sent hit me. I followed it, and as I was walking towards the smell, I started to see flowers of all sorts on the ground roses , lillys, and lavender. I love the smell of lavender and the soft, nice color of it. But then I am stopped by a huge flower bed of only Lillys and lavender flowers. Then I see a purple fluff ball in the middle, almost hidden all the way in the flowers, but if it wasn't for the tail, I wouldn't have noticed him there. I slowly walk up to him, trying not to wake him but just stand next to him.

"So this is where you have been pal, hm." I gently sit down next to him, slowly waking him up. One of his eyes gently and slowly open, looking up at dogday but only to close again. "Uhm, excuse me, it's late out, and everyone is worried about you, so come on, let's go catnap" Catnap yawns quietly and begins to stand up, stretching his arms and tail. Dogday couldn't help but watch as Catnap looked so majestic, as the falling sun lightly hit him, making a beautiful picture. Catnap stares at dogday as well for a second to let him know he is ready to go, but dogday just sits there.

Catnap shakes dogday a little, and dogday comes back to his senses. "h-huh? O-oh, of course, c'mon catnap, let's go hurry up. " dogday yells a bit as he runs back to the neighborhood catnap, follows behind

As I continue walking, I don't hear Catnaps footsteps that much anymore. I turn around and he just gone "ughhhh this dude" I start walking back and look for him AGAIN. I then catch the lavender scent and find Catnap picking up what so happens to be lavender flowers (ironic huh) I walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder at first he got startled for s second which was kinda cute-U-UH IN A FRIENDLY WAY OF COURSE. Catnap looked at me and calmed down a bit. "Dogday agh, you can't just scare people like that" I just stared at him for a second " wouldn't have if you were following me come on dogday we really have to get home before it gets to dark out here and can't see a thing, and what we're you doing anyway" I said as I knew clearly on what he was doing. "I was just picking up flowers. I always do this, but yeah, we should get home before it gets dark" catnap said as he looked up in the sky

No one's pov

Catnap and dogday start walking home, and dogday is holding catnaps hand to make sure he doesn't walk away this time. They finally make back all the critters looked worried until they notice the cat and dog come out from the forest. The critters all yelled and ran to both of them, hugging them all, yelling that they were scared or worried about what could have happened to them.

For my first chapter, I think I did ok, but I could have done better, but I hope yall like this, and I got an idea for the next chapter
