Prepositions in Spanish are not that hard to use. A preposition is a word that describes a noun's relationship with a place or a time. Most of the time, they use prepositions just like us gringos use them in English. There are several situations that are different, but most of them have to do with gerunds, or the present participle, which we won't cover till later. There are 22 main prepositions in Spanish, and if you encounter an unfamiliar one, context will tell you what they mean. 

I was originally going to write out a list of different prepositions and what they do, but then I realised I was getting a lot of my research from The Spanish Dude's video about prepositions. So here are all the main ones (video is in the margins).
