(19) "I Need You Bucky"

"KNOCK KNOCK"

Chloe answered the door when she saw two men that she knew. "Miss Rogers.. we are looking for your mother Sarah Rogers." Fire Chief Thompson said as he stood next Assistant Chief Brown.

"Um my mom is at the hospital she's working. Where's my dad?" she said

"I'm sorry Miss Rogers we can't release that information to you cause you are a minor. Which hospital does your mom work at." Fire Chief Thompson said

"She works at Savannah Memorial Hospital." she said

"Okay thank you Miss Rogers." Fire Chief Thompson said

She shut the door and started to get really scared she called Winnie across the street. Winnie went to Sarah at the hospital to find out what was going on. Chloe ran up to her room found her cellphone and hid in her closet and called him.

Bucky was doing his homework since it was Tuesday night. "Hey doll baby.." he said

"I need you Bucky something's wrong." she said

"Baby breathe what is it.." he said

"The fire chief and assistant chief were just here looking for my mom but she wasn't home cause she's working and they wouldn't tell me anything cause I'm only 16." she said

"Okay baby.. relax did you call my mom?' he said

"Yeah she said she was going to go to the hospital to find out what is going on cause your dad wasn't home either." she said

"Okay baby I'm gonna call her and see what is going on okay baby where are you?' he said

"I um I"m in my room hiding in my closet." she said

"Okay baby doll I'll call you back okay." he said

"Okay..." she said

"It's alright baby okay." he said

Bucky hung up the phone and called his mom. "Hey mom..I just had a very hysterical Chloe call me what's going on?' he said

"I'm on my way back to her house now. Baby you need to email your professors cause you two need each other right now. Your daddy and Joe were making sure the building was clear and they fell through a weak spot of the floor your daddy is okay from what the doctors can tell but Joe..Joe's gone honey." Winnie said

"And dad.." he said as he closed his homework up and he went into his bedroom to get his keys and phone charger.

"Dad has a concussion and crushed ribs and two broken arms." Winnie said

"Oh god.." he whispered

Bucky got in his truck and peeled out of the parking lot then he saw Steve and Nat were running out the door as he was pulling out of the parking lot. Winnie came into Chloe's house and found her curled up in a ball with her hands over her ears rocking back and forth. "Honey breathe look at me honey." Winnie whispered

"No no.." she whispered

Sarah came in and said "Winnie.."

"She won't come out Sarah." Winnie said

Sarah looked in her closet and got down "Chloe honey it's mama." she whispered

They heard trucks pulling in Bucky ran inside "CHLOE!!" he yelled. Winnie and Sarah were standing at the top of the stairs. "She's in her closet freaking out we haven't even told her." Sarah said
