You handed me a plate-full of blame
You took me to the buffet
I ate and ate despite the repulsive taste
Left nauseated and bloated with regret
I gave you the key and you opened the doors
You learned of by heart
My weaknesses and flaws
You learned exactly what I needed and craved
You became my hero
As what I needed and craved is what you gave
You wrapped me up in cotton wall
Ate my heart
and dug me heartless into my grave
Playing chess with my weaknesses
That way you would be sure that I caved
Now I am the crazy one
Left with nothing at all
I wore my heart on my sleeve
I guess he had a radar for fool's
I have never felt such fool
Our pinkies made heartfelt promises
Each one he continued you to break
I tried to embrace the betrayal and pretend it didn't hurt
When he snapped my fingers
His promises smiled and his smile was fake
Promises made
Promises lead to heartbreak
