          Ang mga pilit mong ngiti... Paano mo pa rin ito nagagawa ngayong alam mong kamatayan na lamang ang naghihintay sa'yo?
          
          "Maipaghihiganti mo rin ang mga Vizconde. Si Liu, ang mga magulang mo at ang lahat. Maipaghihiganti mo ang pamilya mo, Lou..."
          
          Humigpit ang hawak ko sa baril. . .
          
          Tama. Hindi pa ako tapos. Hindi pa... Ikaw na rin ang nag-sabi.
          
          At tatapusin ko ito hanggang dulo. Makikita ko ang katapusan. Makikita ko. Maiintindihan mo naman ito hindi 'ba?
          
          Natawa ka nang itutok ko sa'yo ang hawak kong baril. Hindi ba dapat magalit ka sa'kin?
          
          Ginamit kita sa simula palang, pero heto ang gagawin ko. . .
          
          "Parang roller coaster. . . 'diba? Nakakapagod rin pala. Ngayon ko lang naramdaman ang pagod pagkatapos ng lahat ng pinaggagawa natin..."
          
          Nag-angat ka ng tingin sa akin, nakakurba ang mga labi at nakangiti, ngunit alam kong peke ito. Palagi ko itong nakikita kahit noong mga bata pa tayo, lalo na sa tuwing sumusumpong na naman ang sakit ng ate mo at wala kang magawa kun'di ang umiyak nalang...
          
          "Lou, masaya akong nagbalik ka at nakita kang muli. Ang akala ko talaga ay patay ka na at hindi ka na babalik pa kahit kailan. Nakakapanghinayang lang, gusto ko sanang makasama ka pa ng mas matagal. Gusto ko sanang mamuhay kasama ka hanggang sa magkaroon tayo ng kan'ya-kan'yang pamilya. Parang tulad lang noong mga bata pa tayo-"
          
          "Pero bakit!!! Bakit kailangan mo pang bumalik!? Ang sabi ko hintayin mo 'ko! Maghintay ka sa'kin! Babalikan kita! Bakit hindi ka nakinig!?"
