"Blah blah blah whatever then I'll get... Yellow" I said knowing it's her least favorite nail color.
"No no get blue, it's so much prettier and matches your flips flops already"

Oh I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Caitlyn. I love my boyfriend devin but won't admit it aloud and well my only real friend (besides Devin) is kaily. ok back to prom night.

I decided on blue and sat in the big maroon chair next to kaily's. "this should be fun" i said putting an emphasis on "should".
Kaily obviously knew what I was hinting at and replied with "should?". Sadly I knew I had to answer her.
"Well for starters Devin hasn't asked me to prom yet and well yea it's tomorrow"
"He will ask you I promise just be patient"
"Whatever you say miss perfect"she hated being called that but I knew it was mostly true, her parents buy her the newest iPhone and even bought her a car (she's only 15) her boyfriend already asked her to prom and her other friend and her got matching dresses/tuxs . Whereas I have totally weird parents and no date to prom yet. Not to mention the strange messages I've been getting lately.
She sighed and I knew the conversation had ended so I sparked a new one. " So what did you get on your final?"

"Whoop whoop finally I'm smarter" Kaily almost shouted but it put a smile to her face so I let her have this win.

We were on our way to the salon I'm driving since I'm 16 now, my birthday was a month ago and kaily's is in a month.
