"Hey Martina" Veronica said when she saw me walk inside
"Hey" I said smiling before walk to her
"How are you?" I said hugging her quickly
"I'm fine and you" she said breaking the hug
"I can be in a best mood but I'm fine" I said putting a lost piece of my hair behind my ear

"I really love the way you're dressed today, I know I'm saying this every time but it's true" she said and I giggled
I was wearing a blue hoodie with a black pants and black boots because it was a little bit cloudy today
"Thank you" I said with a light blush
"Well Mr.Mendes is in his office right now in his bad mood like always but today it's worst, I think he already fired three peoples today" she said and I widened my eyes

"I should go right now, see you later" I said before walk to the elevator
I stopped at the floor where you can grab something to eat and gab a coffee for Mr.Mendes with a muffin and grab myself a donut before walk back to the elevator
"Come in!!" He shouted as I walk inside his office
"Morning" I said closing the door behind me
I walk to his desk and put his coffee and his muffin down before walk to my desk

"Martina" he said after a long silence but I didn't respond him I only look at him 
"Why are you ignoring me again ?" He said walking to me
"I don't know what you're talking about" I said starting to write down his schedule
"You exactly know what I'm talking about, that's gonna make 25 minutes you're ignoring me" He said taking the pen away from my hand
"As I should don't you think?" I said grabbing another pen and he sighed

"Look can we talk about this ?" He said grabbing the pen in my hand from my hand again
"There's nothing to talk about, you already take me for a pendeja so far, don't you think it's enough ?" I said and he sighed
"It's not like that it's-"
"You have a meeting in ten minutes" I cut him off grabbing the papers about the mister
"Can we talk about this like adults please ?" He said annoyingly
"We can't talk like adults with someone who acts like a kid" I said looking at him dead in the eyes

I saw how his eyes turned into a dark color but I didn't care, I was only telling the truth
"Martina" he said in a warning tone
"I'm quitting"
"What?" He said frowning confusedly
"I'm quitting, today it's my last day" I said feeling my eyes started to watering
"W-why do you said that?" He said trying to wrap his arm around my waist but I pushed it away
"Exactly for this" I said feeling a tear escape my eyes

"You can't just act like that with me for the past two months and still think after what I learned yesterday everything will be fine" I said and he sighed rubbing the back of his neck
"Do you really thought I was about to stay here, in the same room as you for 11 hours by day?" I said and he glanced down
"Martina I promise you I'll explain you but please don't quit your job" He said and I shake my head
"So like that you can fool me even more? So you can still have fun with me ? You didn't had enough of fun those past months?" I said before wiping my tears

"I wasn't playing with you, I was being honest, the kiss we had it was a real one for me, I swear I wasn't playing with you" He said as I look away
"I can't believe you, even if I wanted to I can't" I said shaking my head as he cupped it in his hands
"I swear Martina I was honest with you, what I feel towards you, even if I wanted to I can't fake it" He said wiping my tears
"So please I will give you time if you need but I'm begging you don't quit your job" He said looking at me right in the eyes

"There's any explanation Shawn" I said removing his hands from my face
"You can't just play with girls because you're bored" I said and he sighed
"It's my last day and that's it" I said wiping my tears and I feel him grab my face and put his lips on mine
"Don't" He said kissing me deeply as one of his hand move to the back of my neck and his other one was gripping my waist tightly
"Please don't" he said as my hands cup his face
He pulled away looking at me with a light smile

"You're late for your meeting" I said and he wrapped his arms around me
"With who?"
"Rick"
"I don't like him" he said before start to kiss me again
