Vergil blitzed towards the Demon with a roar. The demon slammed his blade down clashing with Vergil's. Vergil knocked it's blade away then charged at it with a barrage of slashes. Vergil noticed the demon unleashing hellfire and slashes it away. Vergil teleported behind above the demon only for it to knock him away. Vergil quickly got up then looked at the demon as it laughed.
Demon: Is that all your capable son of Sparda?
Vergil cut him off by appearing behind it and slashing it's back causing it to fall.
Vergil: Don't get cocky.
The demon got back up then unleashed explosion around itself causing Vergil to jump back.The demon looked at Vergil with anger before shooting fire into the ground. Vergil ran towards the demon dodging the pillars of fire that shot up around him. Drawing Yamato Vergil slashed the demon's legs immobilizing it. The demon looked at Vergil in shock as the Sparda stood with his spirit blades aimed at it.

Vergil: It's over scum now die.
Vergil unleashed the spirit Swords piercing through the demon's skin as it fell to it's face. Vergil sheathed Yamato then sighed as the sounds of Y/n's cries hit his ears. Vergil made his way over and picked up Y/n.
Vergil: You have nothing to be scared of anymore Y/n. Your father is here now and nothing will ever hurt you.
The demon let out a roar before turning into flames and flying away leaving the two alone. Vergil slowly walked over to M/n with sorrow in his eyes. After making her a grave he held his now sleeping son in his arms.
Vergil: I'm so sorry my love. I wasn't able to save you, I was too weak to protect you. The way things are now I may not even be able to protect Y/n.
Vergil walked away and made his way through Fortuna with Y/n in his arms.
Vergil:(mind) My father sealed away his incredible power years ago. I must reclaim it no matter the cost.
(Back to the present)
Y/n stood infront of his bullies who were left in disbelief. Cardin's teammates let go of Kryie and charged at Y/n for an attack. Yamato appeared in Y/n's hand before he heard a whisper echo through his ears.
