part twenty nine -toxicity at its finest

it was now morning. we all had slept in hours past our usual wake up time. we would've slept longer but woke up only because of ruckus coming outside.

"can they shut, up" pansy let out tossing around.

"try to ignore them" blaise said as pansy curled up into his arms.

"wanna go grab breakfast" draco whispered to me

"sure just let me grab my sweater"

"here" he said grabbing his sweater. "you can wear mine"

i grabbed his sweater and threw it on. we tried to leave as quietly as possible so the two of them could sleep.

"here i'll order, you just go grab some napkins" draco said as he went into the shop.

i nodded and went to go grab napkins.

"y/n" a voice whispered.

i turned around. no, no it couldn't be.

"c-cedric?" i cried. "c-cedric is that you"

"y/n" the voice said again.

"i'm here. i'm here. cedric answer me" i began to cry out.

"i'm not here y/n" the voice began. "you must let me go"

"no. i see you. your in front of me" i cried out.

"i'm not safe. neither are you" the voice whispered again.

"why- why aren't you okay. cedric whats wrong. tell me!" i said shaking the body. "tell me! tell me!" i said shaking harder.

"y/n it's me! what! what is it! tell you what!" draco yelled out snapping me out of it.

"d-draco? no. no. where's cedric. he-he was here"

"he's not here y/n. you must've seen or imagined him. here, sit down" he said putting me to the floor.

"draco. i- i saw him. it felt- real. it did"

"it's okay y/n. it's gonna be okay" he said trying to wrap his arms around me.

"lord stop it! stop this!" i said pushing his hands away. "i'm done with you trying to do this to me"

"i'm done with you trying to make me fall for you again. draco, you and i" i said while pointing my fingers at him and i. "we aren't gonna happen. i love cedric. i'm in, love with cedric. and he's coming back. he will. i know it"

"he's not coming back. not now. not ever. how stupid can you be to think that"

as i was about to open the door i felt a body surround mine and slam the door shut.

"so, what about fucking me?" draco whispered.

"your an idiot malfo-"

"no no no. it's draco not malfoy" he interrupted me.

"draco" i said turning around. "somethings wrong with cedric. i can feel it"

"y/n i-"

"and i know you think i'm crazy. but, i know i'm right about this."

"then we find him."

"you'll help me?"

i smiled and gave him a quick hug and grabbed his hand.

"where are you taking me" he said as i ran with his hand.
