AU: Highschool
Ship: Prinxiety, side intrulogical and side moceit.
Basic Idea: Virgil sycamore gets casted as Julian in the highschool play; a modernized, LGBTQ+ version of Romeo and Juliet. Roman gets casted as Romeo and the director breaks it to them that yes, they will have to kiss for the play.
Virgil is devastated because 1. he barely knows Roman, and 2. He's never kissed before. He doesn't want his first kiss to be stolen by a play! He tries to convince the director not to make them kiss but she refuses profusely.

Roman and Virgil walked down the hall side-by-side. Virgil gritted his teeth. "I don't want my first kiss stolen by some stupid play!"
Roman scoffed. "If you're so sensitive about it, why don't you just kiss someone you DO like BEFORE the play? That way your first kiss won't be wasted, as you say."
Virgil rolled his eyes and then stopped suddenly. "That's... not a bad idea."

So, as cheesy as it is, Virgil must find someone to kiss BEFORE the play.
While, of course, painfully unaware that the aspiring actor he is SUPPOSED to kiss for the play is harboring feelings and having lots of trouble setting Virgil up with someone.
Roman has to literally watch as his crush deliberately avoids kissing him. Tragic.
