I felt comfortable wrapped in the soft duvet, enjoying the warmness of the body beside me. I snuggled more into my boyfriend's embrace, letting his arms tightened around me. A small smile adorned my face. I deserve being happy after the hideous experience. I told Off everything that happened yesterday at my house. I was terrified of his reaction, but to my surprise, he believed every word I said. I slowly opened my eyes, admiring the view before me. Off was definitely handsome, and I was lucky to have him. My stomach grumbled loudly, asking to be filled. I try to wriggle out of Off's embrace.

"Where are you going?" he asked with a sleepy voice.

"To make us something to eat. I am starving." I giggled. He hummed in response but didn't even attempt to let me go.

"Off, please," I whined cutely. He was staring at me with amusement.

"You are way too adorable." he mused, giving me a quick kiss before he loosened his grip on me. I shook my head in disbelieve, and move to the bathroom. I was observing reflection in the mirror. My cheeks were flushed, making visible contrast on lightly tanned skin and a creepy smile plastered on my face.

"What is this man doing to me?" I mumbled to myself. I washed my face with cold water, hoping that it will help me get rid of the redness on my face. I brushed my teeth and combed the mess, that was supposed to be my hair. Then I changed back to the clothes I had on yesterday. I made my way into the kitchen, heading straight for the refrigerator.

"He has nothing in here," I confirmed Off's yesterday's statement. I grab the last few eggs and some leftovers of vegetable. I was determined to make the best-scrambled eggs my handsome ranger ever tasted.

I was halfway done when the footsteps echoed through the house.

"Baby," Off called out.

"It smells wonderful." he beamed, wrapping arms around my waist, nuzzling his nose into the crook of my exposed neck. I chuckled and pushed him away with an elbow.

"Go sit down. The breakfast is ready," I ordered. He reluctantly let go of me and went to sit at the table. A minute later we hungrily dig in the food.

We were done with eating, and I was ready to wash the plates when Off stopped me.

"You cooked so I will wash the dishes." He smiled at me. "I almost forgot. Your phone is charged." he searched in his pants pocket and took out an electric device. I gave him a little kiss on the cheek as thank you and happily skipped to the livingroom.

I sat down on the couch clutching mine phone. I just rolled it in my hand for a moment before I decided to turn it on. The monitor lit up, and it took some time for the lock screen to load. I put in a password and waited. The screen lit up again and showed something I didn't expect. There was a picture of me sleeping. I was staring at the photo, as it would disappear if I look enough at it. It couldn't be Off. He didn't know a password, right? And if he figures it out somehow, he wouldn't do that.

"Hey, Gun are you alright? You look distracted." I didn't realize that Off was sitting next to me until he spoke up.

"Oh, I just," I stuttered as I tried to tell him, what was on my mind. "Did you turn on my phone and changed the background on it?"

"Why? You probably have a password on it." He looked at me bewildered and slightly hurt. I instantly regret asking him. I took his hand and squeezed it.

"I am sorry," I whispered. "Someone changed it, and it's quite disturbing." I let out a worried breath. I turned the screen in his direction, to see what had thrown me off. My boyfriend was checking the picture, the frown on his face getting more serious.

"Gun," he looked at me, hardening the hold on my hand. "I don't want to scare you. But this photo is not from my house. I don't own this bedsheet."

I froze for a while. Deep down I knew it. I just didn't want it to be true. "That thing" must have done it. Why is this happening to me? I felt tears well up in my eyes, threatening to fall at any moment. Off gently pull me over, swaying our bodies in a comforting manner.

"Don't worry baby. No one will hurt you. I will protect you at all cost." he muttered into my ear. I believed him. I believed every word he told me.

"We have to get your things out of that house. You can't stay there," he stated sternly.

"I know. But I don't know where to go. I sold my apartment in the city.  And I don't want to bother New and Tay. They have a lot worry about as it is." I sniffled into his chest. He pulls me out of the hug and lightly flicking my forehead.

"Silly." he grinned "Who am I then?"

"You would let me stay?" I asked warily.

"Of course. I am your boyfriend. Who else would help you, if not me?" He caressed my flushed cheek. I was happy yet nervous. I don't know him well enough, to stay with him longer than necessary.

"Than till, I find a different place to move to?" I confirmed. He nodded with a warm smile.

"I think you should call your friends and tell them what happened." Off spoke with worry.

"They deserve to know," he added. I took a deep breath, as I realized he had absolute true. New and Tay were my best friends and helped me a lot. Calling them and carefully explain what is happening in my life was the right thing to do.

"I will let you alone." he stroked my head, giving it a small kiss before going up in his room. I sight looking at my phone for a while before I dialled New's number. I listened beeping from the other line waiting for New to pick up.

"Hi, GunGun, nice of you to finally call." Echoed from the other side.

"Hi, and I am sorry. It's..." I hesitated for a moment, not knowing how to start. "I had a lot going on."

"A lot? In the freaking forest? Really?" New sounded mad.

"Sorry, Newii. I didn't mean to." I whined.

"Alright. At least you called." he paused. "So how is everything?" he asked curiously. I took a deep breath to encourage myself.

"I know you won't believe me and most probably will think I have gone crazy, but my house is haunted."

The other line went silent. I heard rustling from the stairs as Off came down, with the phone attached to his ear. He pointed on the door, letting me know that he will be outside. I nodded slightly in the confirmation, watching him going out of the doorway.

"New? Are you there?" I asked anxiously.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry. I thought you said your house is haunted." He laughed.

"I did. It's true New. I am not joking." I said seriously.

"Tell me everything Gun and don't miss anything."

"I don't even know where to start." I give out a shaky exhalation. Standing up from the couch walking around the room.

"Start with how did you find out about it?" New encouraged me. I stopped by the window, looking out, as I began to describe everything to New. My story was pretty long to tell, but New was silently listening, asking a few things here and there.

As I spoke I watched Off chatting with the older man. He looked to be in his fifties. He was wearing the same uniform as Off. So he was another college, that Off was talking about. He seemed familiar to me. I wondered if I saw him somewhere before. I can ask Off later anyway.

"I am staying with Off for now." I finished.

"You have a boyfriend! Is he handsome? Send me a photo! " New shouted at me.

"Really, New? From all the information I gave you, you only caught that I have a boyfriend?" I was stunned.

"So what? I need to confirm if he's good for you." he huffed.

"Sure." I shooked my head.

"But, are you really okay? I and Tay will come to help you. You can stay with us, you know." he offered.

"I know. But I don't want to bother you. And Off already suggested staying with him."

"Are you sure? What if he's a serial killer or something?" New started again.

"I will send you an address, so you know where to start looking for my dead body." I rolled my eyes.

"Very funny."

"But really, he is my saviour New. I don't know what would I do without him." I sight smiling.

"You got it pretty hard, did you?" My friend chuckled. "Just don't get hurt," he added.

"I won't.  And if I will, I know you and Tay are here for me."

"Of course we are. Gun, take care and call as soon as possible." He commanded seriously.

"If you don't call in time, I am going there. I mean it."

"I will. By New. Say hi to Tay." I hung up when Off walked back inside.

"Why are you smiling?" He asked me as he made his way towards me. I wrapped my hand around his waist, hugging him tightly.

"New took it pretty well." I hummed in his chest.

"That's good." he hugged me back.

"But he was afraid about my boyfriend being a serial killer." I giggled loudly, looking up at Off's reaction. He was shaking his head in amusement.

"I would like to meet your friend. He has an interesting sense of humour." he laughed.

"You will if I won't report regularly, he will come with a whole SWAT team."

"Interesting, I should be careful and remind you to call him." he grinned again.

"Off, thank you," I whispered, looking directly in his eyes.

"You don't have to thank me," he answered fondly. I was staring at him, observing every detail of his face. The urge to get closer to him was stronger than me. His full lips looked so delicious. I tiptoed, slowly leaning nearer, closing my eyes in the process. I could feel the warmness of his breath on me. Our lips met in the light collision, sending the feeble electric waves through my body, making my inner organs squirm in delight. Our mouths were dancing in the rhythm of our hearts, letting our tongues play along.

I was out of breath, lungs screaming for oxygen. We had to pull away, but it was hard to let go. A contented smile rose on my face as our foreheads touched.

"We should go and get your things." Off shakily breathed out.

"We should." I nodded.
