One Love - { Cedric Diggory x Draco Malfoy }

Chapter Nine.

You woke up the next day, groaning as the memories of yesterdays events came rushing back to you. How could you have been so stupid. All they did was care for you and you just treated them like trash.

You slumped out of bed, pulling on your clothes and walked down to the main hall. Scanning the hall, you couldn't see any signs of either Draco or Cedric.

Sighing, you decide who you should find and speak to first. Draco, after all he was your boyfriend - plus you did start screaming at him.

You saunter down the corridors, trying to find him. And also trying to calm yourself. You were possibly more nervous now that you were looking for Draco. After all, you had never seen him so angry before yesterday. You tried not to let your mind wonder to negative thoughts like "What if he never wants to speak to me again."

After a while of looking, you decide to walk into an empty classroom, not expecting to find Draco there.

But you did.

On top of Pansy Parkinson.

Pansy's eyes landed on you and then she pulled away, as Draco whipped around, following her glare.

"Lucy I can explain." He said quickly, rushing over towards you, but you shook your head.

"No it's okay. You don't need to explain, I've seen enough. Please - continue." You said before fast walking out of the classroom and all the way to the common room.

You slammed the dorm door shut and locked it. Falling onto your bed, you grabbed your pillow and you screamed as loud as you could until your lungs hurt, before you broke down crying.

"Where's Lucy?" Cedric asked one of the Hufflepuffs.

"She's been in her room all day, ever since she stormed up there this morning." The Hufflepuff said.

Cedric walked up the stairs and then knocked on the door.

"Go away!" He heard you yell.

"Lucy, it's me.", Cedric spoke softly.

They stood there a few more seconds before the door opened and their hearts clenched at the sight. Your eyes were red and puffy, your hair was a mess and you could clearly see the tear stains down your cheek.

Without saying anything, Cedric launched forward and wrapped his arms around you, picking you up in the process. You sobbed into his shoulder as he closed the door, stroking your hair.

"Cedric I'm..I'm so-so sorry.." You sobbed, pulling your head up to look at him.

"I know, it's okay." He hushed, stroking your hair.  He laid down with you on the bed.

He looked at you with worried eyes, but he didn't question what happened. He waited for you to tell him as he didn't want to push you.

Your sobs died down to sniffs and hiccups. "I walked out of the Great Hall and I looked for Draco everywhere. I walked into an empty classroom and he was there." You said and sighed.

"Did you speak to him?" Cedric pondered and you shook your head.

"No, because I found him on top of Pansy Parkinson." You said, you didn't cry anymore because you didn't think you had tears left to cry.

"I'm going to kill him." Cedric  said furiously, clenching his fists.

"Cedric, It's fine, honestly." You smiled meekly at him.

"I'm still going to murder him. But you should get some rest." He said, pulling open the covers for you, which you dove under. "I'll see you tomorrow, I promise." Cedric turned round towards the door, but you grabbed his hand.

"Cedric, please will you stay?", You asked. You had only just got him back, you needed him more than anything right now.

He got into the covers next to you, as you nestled into his chest. He kissed your forehead before resting his chin on your head - and wrapped his arms around you.

"Always."
