a few weeks have passed since your first audio call with your number buddy.

and for the first week following that call, you've talked with him almost every day. and when you asked him why he decided to audio call instead of facetime, his only reply was that he "dOeSn'T wAnT tO bE kIdnApPeD."

why the fuck does everyone think i'm going to kidnap them? first oikawa, now him?

but lately, due to exam week and other extracurriculars { we all know it's volleyball }, you haven't heard from him in a while.

the last text you received from him—after both of your exams were finally over—was one in which he explained that he was going to be busy for the next week, and wouldn't be available very often.

basically the message from him was "don't spam me since i'm busy and i won't reply anyways."

you sighed to yourself. you knew that nationals was also coming up, meaning there would be even less chances to text with him then.

being all caught up in your thoughts, you didn't hear suna come up behind you.

"why the fuck are you staring at the ground?"

you jumped and immediately looked to your right, where the black haired boy was standing next to you.

"suna!" you hit him playfully. "you scared the living shit out of me!"

"not my fault you don't notice things around you," he scoffed. "what's your first class?"

today was the first day of the new semester. you had a week off after exams, but now, school has sadly resumed.

"advanced functions," you told him.

suddenly, realizing that your other best friend was missing—we love being a clumsy hoe—you asked, "where's atsumu?"

suna stared at you in disbelief.

"do you have the memory span of a goldfish?" he asked.

"um no? i don't think that's the correct metaphor suna." you were still confused as you asked again, "where's tsumuuu?"

suna rolled his eyes. "are you fucking stupid? he's at the all japan training camp this week. and you were literally the one that sent him off the other day."

it was as if suna's words suddenly brought you back into reality as you finally remembered. this was the week that atsumu has been looking forward to for the past month—and you had, indeed sent him off, three days ago.

"oops," you mouthed, flashing a playful smile at suna.

how did i even forget?

i guess i was too caught up thinking about him, you thought with a smile.

wait— no i wasn't.

y/n. you are a bad bitch and you don't think about no boys👺🥱

suna looked as if he was about to laugh again at your stupidity, but then, thinking better of it, sighed and said, "i'll see you at lunch, y/n. i have a nOn-aDvAncEd fUncTiOns class to attend."

you scrunched your nose at him, then waved goodbye as the pair of you walked to your separate classes.

you decided that you were going to text tsumu as soon as school was over.
