Diane had been playing a game on her phone when the text from Binjo came up. She sulked a little as she looked down to the hoodie that she wore. It was one of Binjo's that she had converted to hers. She wasn't going to give him back this one, it was hers now, and she wanted to keep at least one item of his with her to hold unto when she missed him very badly, which was now a daily thing, hence the hoodie she wore.

Tiredly, she pulls her slender legs off the bed and grabs a duffel bag to stuff his things into it. She had packed the bag two months back, expecting him to show up the week they had broken up to pick it up, but he had gone to Lagos and had refused to come back till now.

"Most likely having the time of his life with low budget Marilyn Monroe, I'm sure." She spat jealously as she stuffed his clothes, toothbrush, perfume, aftershave balm and spare laptop charger into the bag. In a few seconds, she found herself seated on the floor cross legged and pouting sadly. She then decides to pull out his perfume and spray it all over herself before stuffing it back into the bag.

She had missed his scent so badly, and the smell of the perfume on the hoodie she wore made her feel like he was embracing her warmly and kissing her forehead in his usual way.

"I miss you." She says to herself, and when she falls asleep, a few tears dry off on her face.

"You rascal, how could you hide away in Lagos for so long and leave me here?" Jaejin whines as they hug each other while loading Binjo's two boxes into the boot of this car.

"So you can miss me like this?" Binjo jokes as he straps his seatbelt.

"Everyone has missed you this guy, including your main madam." Jaejin says with a funny tone and Binjo rolls his eyes at the end of the statement.

"You're saying main as if I have secondary madams." Binjo jokes and Jaejin chuckles as he drives them out of the airport parking area.

"Don't you? What happened to the Lagos blonde? You never gave me updates on that one oh."

"That's because I haven't seen her since that day, neither have I gone back to that jazz club." Binjo explains and Jaejin gasps.

"You scandalous man! When did you start smashing and skipping? You've grown oh!" Jajein hails him playfully and Binjo laughs.

"I told you, this guy. All we did was drink, misbehave, make out and pass out after. No sex was involved." Binjo clarifies and Jaejin shakes his head.

"You can't even hook up properly, this guy. You know you're single and free to do whatever you want now, right?" Jaejin asks and Binjo nods, meanwhile his mind is on Diane who he was annoyingly excited to see later that day.

"But seriously, that blonde chick route was a pretty solid banger. Dee has been whining to Bee every day since you posted it last week Friday. E dey pain am die!"

"Why is it affecting her? Didn't she ask me to move on? I'm acting just as instructed." Binjo said with an annoyed scowl and Jaejin chuckled lowly.

"Whatever it is that you're doing, apply more pressure. When she can't take it anymore, she'll let go of her pride. You're always the one begging Dee, for once, let her beg you." Jaejin advises and he nods.

All he actually wanted to do was see her beautiful face and kiss her deeply, but he knew all that would happen that evening was them being awkward and stiff to one another with a one liner conversation. Then he'd pick up his things and leave her apartment.

"I need to give this man a taste of his own medicine." Diane thinks to herself, her arms crossed on her abdomen while she thinks back to her phone.
