I woke up around 10am. I walked towards Aly's cells to see if she was up or not. She wasn't. I wasn't going to wake her. I knew she needed to sleep. I stood there for a while and watched Aly sleep. She looked so adorable.
I walked outside to see Carol cooking breakfast for all the people we had at the prison. We had a lot more people since we rescued them from Woodbury. They were great help though.
The food smelled really good. Carol was making bacon, and some eggs she found. Carol was a really good cook too. Carol looked up at me and smiled.
"Good morning Carl. Want some food?"
"Yes please."
I took the plate of food Carol gave me and sat at a table. I was about half way done eating my food when I saw Aly walk outside. Her hair was all messed up and she had morning face.
She greeted Carol and grab a plate of food and sat down a few tables away from me. I wonder why she wouldn't sit with me. I ignored it and went back to eating my food.
It was so hard to focus on anything since I found Aly. She was just so pretty. No beautiful. Was I starting to get feelings for her?
•Aly•
I woke up feeling so refreshed and rested. I was so hungry though. I thought about eating my granola bar, but I decided to save them in case I was in the woods again.
I didn't bother brushing my hair, so I just went downstairs and outside. Carol greeted me with a smile, and I told her "good morning" and grabbed a plate of food.
I sat a few tables away from Carl. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I didn't want to get attached to him. If you get too attached to something or someone you always loose them. Always.
Carl kept staring at me though. Does he like me? Maybe he does. He has been staring at me a lot since I got here. Do I like him? No. I can't get attached. Well maybe I do like him, but I can't get attached. I thought to myself.
Then Daryl came out and sat with me.
"Hi"
"Hey Aly"
"Can I help you?"
"Um Ya. Rick wanted to know if you wanted to go on a run with me, him, Michonne, and Carl if he decides to go."
"Ya I'll go" Carl said while walking past us.
"Ya. Of course."
"Okay I'll have Carl tell you when it's time to go."
"Okay thanks."
Daryl seemed like a nice guy. So far.

After breakfast I went on and did my chores. I showed Aly all the chores I do and how to do them. We all have a part to do here in the prison. It's only fair.
"We are leaving around 2 to go on our run."
"Okay." She looked at me and smiled. Her smile was so bright, and the dimples she had when she smiled made her even cuter.
"You know how to use a gun?"
"Of course I do. I wouldn't be running around the woods with out one."
I smiled.
---
"Carl! Time to go!" Daryl yelled from the bottom of the cell block.
"Okay!"
I got up and left my cell and went to Aly's cell. She was asleep. I went over to her and looked at her. I couldn't help but smile. Does she even like me? She acts like she doesn't. I like her but I wonder if she feels the same. I thought. I lightly shook her shoulder and she instantly woke up and sat up.
"Are you okay?"
"Uh Ya. Ya just a bad dream." She said as she rubbed her eyes.
"Well it's time to go on the run."
Aly got up and grabbed her backpack. It was bright green.
---
We walked in the woods until we reached the town we found Aly. We found a grocery store a few blocks away from the house I found Aly.
When we reached the store we looked through the windows to see if we could see any walkers. We didn't, but that didn't mean it was clear or safe. Daryl banged in the windows and wait for a while. Nothing. Next Michonne did the same thing. Sure enough about five walkers came to the window.
We opened the door to the store and killed them silently. We went into the store and gathered as much as possible. The store didn't have a lot, but had enough food for us to survive and feed everyone for a few more days.
When we were getting ready to head out my dad stopped.
"Oh shit." Is all he said before I figured out what was happening.
A heard of walkers were coming towards the store. There was at least 50-60 of them. We couldn't kill them all. We tried to barricade the door, and run out the back, but the walkers got in.
We got the door open just in time because the walkers were almost all in.
We made sure everyone was alright, but something seemed wrong. Like someone was missing. My eyes widened.
"ALY!"
•Aly•
I was trapped inside the store. I killed some of the bit-walkers. At least 7 or 10. I hid between a shelf and wall.
"Help" is all I could whisper.
I kept whispering help.
Help.
Please.
Help.
I heard the door open and saw some feet. I was sure it was another walker. It was going to see me. I closed my eyes and braced myself but instead of being eaten, my arm was grabbed.
I was drug out of the store. When I opened my eyes I saw Carl. It took me a few seconds to realize I was crying. Carl helped Rick, and Michonne board up the door. Daryl stayed with me and comforted me. Maybe Daryl did have a soft spot.
"Aly it's okay. Your fine." He said in a comforting way.
---
I sat in my cell after we got back. I was still shaken up by what happened back at the store.
I was getting attached. I can't get attached. Maybe I need to leave.
Oh wow Aly might leave! This was a longer chapter. I hope you guys liked it, and I'll be posting the next chapter tomorrow! Also sorry for any grammar mistakes.
