Athena's dress.
Dalia's dress.
-Athena's POV-
Normally I enjoy school, but this year is the exception. It has been unbearable. I can't even begin to describe how I feel towards anything school related right now. The Carrow's are vile and cruel. If that's not enough, even other professors are scared to go against any rules because they can be subjected to punishment. So far, I only know of at least one class I share with Dalia and Leo. Hopefully, we'll have more, Merlin knows I'll go insane if I have to sit through class after class without them.
I make my way up the staircase that stretches an unbelievable length, leading to the Ravenclaw common room. As I approach the entrance, I am met with the door and its knocker meant to give me the expected riddle required to enter.
"Where do vanished objects go?" asked the door knocker that takes the shape of an eagle. This is why Ravenclaw students can never drink very much at parties; we're the only house without a password set in stone. It's safe to assume solving riddles while drunk will never end nicely. Just last year, Leo had to wait outside for nearly an hour, barely avoiding prefects on duty, before I found him and let him in.
"To another dimension" I answered confidently. It's taken me seven years to respond to a riddle without overthinking. It has also taken me seven years to get used to the hundreds of stairs I have to climb up and down daily just to get anywhere.
Stepping into the common room, I can feel the air is full of excitement. Everyone is busy talking about Blaise's party tonight and honestly, I can't blame them. Even though I'm not much of a partier, all I want to do tonight is to forget about every minuscule problem and just dance, drink, and have fun with my friends. I make my way over to my room and as I enter, I see Luna observing her outfit in the mirror very carefully.
"Are you going to the party Luna?" I ask as I set my bag onto my bed.
"Yes. I've always enjoyed parties. They are a nice way for people to get close, even if they don't want to. Are you going as well?" she responds whimsically, still looking at her reflection.
