The two of you started your walk towards your house. Apparently, Shirabu lived past where you and Satori had moved into, so he would be dropping you off than continuing. You slip on your headphones turning up your music to block out any noises. You found it stupid that Satori was having someone you barely know treat you like a baby.
This baby-ing went on for a week, where you were only allowed around Shirabu, but you broke the rules a bit and hung with Goshiki a lot as well. Over the week you and Goshiki got close and closer. You never met someone with as much enthusiasm about volleyball as Goshiki.
Soon, that one week turned into two. In those two weeks, you and Goshiki continued to grow your friendship and somewhat merged into hanging out with Satori and his grouping during the lunch period. For once in your life, you felt like you belonged somewhere.
Just like your brother, there was something about your appearance that scared off normal people. The only reason people had ever approached you is that you were an omega, or they were dared to go talk to you. Even though you and Satori got double the stares, you both felt happy not being judged by your new small grouping of friends.
Soon it turned to three weeks. Shirabu had been trying to avoid you, but your nosy ass wouldn't leave him alone. He wouldn't open up to you then, but little did you know, the two of you were going to get closer than ever soon(Well I mean you do know cause ur reading a ShirabuxReader).
The three weeks turned into four, and four turned into five. The weeks started piling up, and it soon turned into months. These months you got closer with a select few on the volleyball team and kept your distance from most.
"Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City?"
Shirabu looked up to you. You were walking along a raised wall by the sidewalk with one earbud in. Satori and Ushijima were walking behind the two of you being all lovey-dovey. You felt the gaze on you as you quietly sang the lyrics. You pivot on your foot and proceed in the same direction backward. Your gaze shifts down as your feet carry you across the wall.
Shirabu just stared back at you. You continued to spill out quiet lyrics not breaking eye contact. Neither of you blinked, you took this as a staring contest opportunity. You crack a smile, from the bottom of your frozen eyes you watch as his cheeks rise up a small bit.
"Oh, it's what you do to me~"
You sing out breaking eye contact and spinning around on the wall. You let out a giggle singing along to the lyrics a bit louder now. The four of you were only walking the short distance to your house, but on these walks, you'd always find a way to have fun. Satori's grin grew a bit more as he laughed at you having a fun time.
"I'd walk to you if I had no other way,"
You stick out your hands like balancing on a thin line and continue forward. You were supposed to be in high school but that never stopped your inner child from coming out. Spinning once more you hop off of the small wall at a corner. You splash into a puddle and let out another giggle looking at your now soaked socks.
You look over to the boys who had all slowed down and let you take the lead. In your second year, you hear the chorus take back over, but there was no need to sing it out loud.
"You're going to wreak your shoes if you stay in that puddle, Strawberry."
"Sorry, I guess I got distracted by the music."
You step out of the puddle and hear Shirabu's monotone voice say something. You weren't able to catch what he said but it made Satori laugh. But that didn't narrow down the possibility of what he said, Satori laughs at everything.
You shake your legs off a bit before feeling a familiar hand on your shoulder. You look back see Satori towering over you as usual.
"If you want, you can take off your shoes and socks, I'll hold onto them. You just have to take a bath once we get home."
"Alright! We're pretty close anyway right?"
The boy nodded and you kicked off your shoes. Satori picked them up as you pulled your wet socks off and balled them up. You wrung out your socks before your brother basically stole them out of your hand. You try and grab them but fail. The two of you laugh before getting scolded by Shirabu. He and Ushijima had gotten a bit of a lead, you siblings.
You let out a snort before both of you go into laughing. You start to head towards them before an idea came into your head, and you knew Satori would agree with it. You rush back to Satori's side, he was most likely thinking the same thing as you. The taller boy bent over and poked your boob.
"Are you really going to harass her, Satori?"
You two look over to Shirabu. You both paused for a second before Satori let out a small snort. You poked at your brother's stomach, and once you successfully did so he let a few words out.
"I'm not harassing her, Shirabu. We're just going to play a midnight game of tag."
The boy poked your boob once again and you grabbed to his shirt. He jumped back, dodging your small hands. He started to run but you were quick to tap his arm and get a good gap between the two of you.
Your bare feet carried you to a cross-walk. You quickly look both ways to ensure your life didn't end here and ran across. Satori ran right after you, leaving behind Shirabu and Ushijima. You rush down the sidewalk Satori close behind you.
A familiar driveway comes into view as you approach. You take out your remaining earbud leaving off at the lyrics "you believe God is a woman" and force yourself to run faster. Now in the driveway, you jump onto your porch rather than using the small staircase. You fumble with your keys as the door unlocks and you are met with the warmth of your front room.
