"There are many books in the library. Each book has a wonderful story that will never happen in reality. But as you fall in love, reality becomes a wonderful story better than any novel." (Boys Be)

"I sincerely apologize, Yoshikawa-chan. This is all entirely my fault," the landlady said to me while she clenched her hands thoroughly on mine. She kept staring at me with regretful look on her face.

We were now sitting side by side, on the crimson red couch in the living room, after what happened earlier. I had created a commotion on our floor when I screamed my lungs out after I discovered there were two strangers in my unit.

I could still remember how I tried my best to cover my exposed body from their eyes and ran to my room to hide.

The other tenants in our floor probably heard my screams because they rushed to my unit, along with the landlady, asking us what happened. But after they had learned that there was nothing wrong, they went back to their own units except for the landlady who insisted that she needed to talk with the three of us.

"I'm so confused. I have no idea what's happening," I uttered while trying hard not to establish eye contact with the two guys who were sitting on the other couch.

I could not bring myself to face them.

I was already wearing a shirt but I had this feeling that my 'strip show' earlier was still etched on the minds of those two. It still sent me goosebumps whenever I remember that they saw me wearing only a black strapless bra while on top of a guy.

The landlady smiled at me guiltily. "Your grandfather called me last week to inquire about your rent. When I told him the cost, he was shocked at first but gave me permission afterwards to search for possible roommates to lessen your problem."

So that's why...

My grandfather was usually like that. I didn't know how, and why he always pops out whenever I needed help. It was just like he had this instinct that I was in trouble and before I knew it, he already had helped me.

I supposed being an orphan at a young age was what drove him to care for me so much. At first, it was bothersome but I got used to it later on.

A squeeze to my hands was the one that brought me back to the present.

The landlady was looking at me intently, probably waiting for my reaction. "It's my mistake that I didn't inform you about that. I just assumed that your grandfather will talk to you about it."

I shook my head. "It's my fault. I've been coming home late since the start of the classes so I didn't bother to check for my grandfather's messages. Maybe that's why he's been calling me for some time now."

She smiled at me softly and glanced at the two guys who were silently listening to our conversation. "Yoshikawa-chan, I want you to meet your new roommates," she said as she motioned to the guy who turned on the lights earlier. "This is Ryusaki Toshiro."
