riddle me this

Ginny POV

The teachers started to usher the students out of the great hall. "Come on sweety we need to go." I said to Luna. "But I don't wanna!" Luna wined and she clung on to me but we where pulled apart by two teachers and sulkily walked to our dorms. I gave the fat lady the password and entered the dorm. I balled my hands up into fists when I saw him. "Harry why are you waiting by the door?" I asked when i walked through the door and nearly walked into him. "Hey Ginny," harry said to Ginny in a devious way "i was just wondering if you would want to go to hogsmeade with me on a date this weekend?" Ginny looked at harry disgusted and snapped back at him "I'm really sorry harry but I'm already dating someone!" she said in a sincere type of way. "Oh and by the way didn't I tell you not to talk to me this is your last chance before I break that arm of yours or though I haven't decided if I want to break just the one or two!" ginny shouted. Hopefully then he would get the message and back off. She stormed off and was halfway across the common room when she spun on her heels and said "I'm dating Luna by the way, just thought you ought to know!" She spun back around and headed up to her room and started to drift off thinking about Luna and her beautiful face.

Luna POV

She walked back to the ravenclaw common room and felt the loss of ginny touch straight away. She felt so lonely without her. As she was walking back to her dorm she thought of when ginny had helped her to use the chopsticks at the feast. When she came to the dorm door she listened to the riddle given by the bronze eagle door knocker. This was the riddle "Give me food and I will live, give me water and I will die, what am I?" the bronze door knocker asked. Luna thought for a moment and then said what she thought was the answer "A desert?" The bronze knocker thought for a moment and then said "No I'm sorry but that's not it do you have anything else in mind?" asked the knocker as this was Luna's last chance she had to think hard. "No sorry I can't think of anything else." Luna felt so downhearted. She was stuck out here until morning unless someone went in or came out and let her in. She knew for sure every ravenclaw had gone from the feast before her so she was stuck for the meantime. She then remembered.... Ginny had given her the password for the gryffindor dorms. If she could just get to there without being seen or raising suspicion then maybe she could help her. Or she could stay there and sleep with Ginny. No Luna push the dirty thoughts out of your head.
