The Lion Guard Moments 💕

A Peaceful Brunch(request)

Request from cristianjosuechele. We got Kion, Fuli, Makucha, Chuluun, Makini and Mama Binturong

It was peaceful at the Tree of Life. Kion and Fuli were sunbathing while Makini was meditating near them. The two cats then stood up and stretched, letting out roar like yawns as they started to walk away. Makini opened her eyes and watched them curiously.

"Hey where are you two going?" She asked curious and Fuli turned around to look at her. "We're gonna go get breakfast. Wanna come?"  She offered to the mandrill. "Sure" Makini told her as she stood up, grabbed her staff and followed them.

The three of them headed out to the, just walking and chatting. Makini was exploring around when she spotted something that caught her attention.

"Hey guys. I can see Makucha, Chuluun and Mama Binturong" she called out to them and Fuli leaped on a rock to get a better look. She spotted the three walking through the grass and glared at them, growling. Kion leaped on the rock and joined her side, his eyes scanning the group.

"Why isn't that we go hunt, those guys show up? Come on. Let's find a spot where they won't bother us or turn it into another hunting contest" Fuli suggested as she turned around, about to walk away but Kion noticed something that caught his attention.

"Fuli wait! Look" he told her and she turned her head back to look. Kion noticed that Chuluun was holding her one of her hind legs up and was kinda behind the other two, her face showed some exhaustion with her ears down. From the look of it, she was limping.

"Chuluun's limping" he told her and the two looked at eachother. "How do we know it's not a trap?" She asked him cautious. Kion looked back and examined carefully to him. Her limping looked very real. "We should check just to be sure" he told her serious and Fuli throught about it, still wary.

"Ok. But keep your guard up" she told him and he nodded as all three walked towards them.

Meanwhile, Chuluun was panting tiredly as Makucha turned around to look at her, his face looking concerned. "Let's take a break" he suggested and Chuluun instantly lied down to rest. Mama Binturong looked at the leopard annoyed.

"Rest?! We haven't even caught dinner yet. And you're gonna take a break now?!" She asked him annoyed and irritated as Makucha glared at her.

"Chuluun got hurt at the last hunt. She  needs to rest" he explained to her firmly but his eyes looked up and he spotted Kion, Fulu and Makini approaching them. The leopard got in front of the binturong and the snow leopard for protection.

"Makucha. We mean no harm. We're out on a hunt and that's it" Kion explained to him catiously as Fuli and Makini stood behind him, the cheetah ready to protect Kion if needed.

Makucha relaxed a little bit but still kept his guard. "We noticed Chuluun was limping" Kion told him and the leopard looked behind him at Chuluun who was licking her hurt leg. The leopard's face soften in concern and he sighed.

"Chuluun got hurt during one hunt that failed" he explained as Kion thought of something but was unsure if the leopard would accept it.

"Tell you what Makucha. Why don't you, me and Fuli got hunt and Makini can healed Chuluun?" Kion offered him and everyone stared at him surprised.

"Kion are you crazy?!" Fuli asked him surprised and annoyed. "I know. But Chuluun is hurt and we are the Lion Guard" he explained to her as Fuli sighed but nodded and the lion turned back to the leopard. "Well?" He asked him and the leopard thought about. He was unsure about this. But even if he tried, hunting solo wasn't easy.

Sighing, Makucha made his choice. "Ok. I accept your offer and we'll hunt with you" he answered him and Kion nodded, actually pleased that Makucha accepted. "Makini, you'll go check on Chuluun while we go hunt" Kion explained as the mandrill nodded and ran to the snow leopard while the three cats walked away to find food.

Fuli quickly walked up to the leopard and hissed at him "If you do anything to hurt Kion, you'll be a breakfast" she threatened him as Makucha actually felt intimidated and the cheetah turned around followed after Kion with Makucha following.

Makini made a healing cream and wrapped it around Chuluun's leg to help her heal.

A few minutes later, the cats came back with a large buffalo for food.

"Finally! Breakfast is served!" Mama Binturong said excited, licking her mouth as she ran over and snatched a large chuck of meat for herself and she walked off to a spot for herself. Makini noticed a tree with mangoes and climbed up to get some for herself.

Makucha grabbed a piece of meat and walked over to Chuluun, setting it down her. "Thanks" she said relieved and started eating. Makucha smiled andnodded, happy to see her resting as he walked back to the lion and cheetah.

"Come on Kion. Let's go get our food" Fuli told him as the two were about to leave but the leopard stopped them. "Wait" Makucha told them as he got in front of them, blocking them.

The two cats looked at eachother surprised and got into a defense stance. But what Makucha did next was a surprise.

"Since you guys helped us, you can eat with us. There's a lot to go around" he offered them calmly and the lion and cheetah stared at him surprised. Kion smiled at him. "Ok" he said as the leopard turned around and started eating.

"I'm...shocked" Fuli told Kion dumbfounded as he looked at her "Yeah. But at least we get to eat" he told her as the two ate breakfast alongside them peacefully.
