Late Night Cuddles

Y/n sat quietly on the couch. Today her husband, Keigo, was out doing hero work. He always leaves around 5 in the morning and doesn't come back till late at night. As much as Y/n loved him she was getting very lonely. It almost felt as if Keigo didn't even pay attention to her anymore.

She sighs as her fingers unconsciously start twisting the ring on her finger. In the large condo the only noise that could be heard was the hushed talking from the tv and the soft pitter pattering from the rain outside. The sound of cracking brings Y/n out of her thoughts and she looks up to see the tv glitching out. She reaches for the remote and turns it off. 

A loud humming sound could be heard from the wind outside as it blew up against the outside walls. All the sounds that couldn't be heard before now were as clear as day. Cars honking from the busy streets, the clock on the wall ticking, the rain hitting the windows. Once again, Y/n lets out a soft sigh and stands up. She walks to the kitchen and opens the fridge. The light from the fridge illuminates the kitchen as she stares blankly into it. "Why can't he just be home already..?" she grumbles under breath as she grabs a bottle of water and slams the fridge closed. 

Her soft footsteps could be heard as she walks down the hallway and slams open the door to her shared bedroom. She plops onto the bed not even bothering to cover herself with the soft silk sheets. After a few minutes of angry thinking her eyelids get heavy and she falls asleep.

A few clicks could be heard from the front door before it's pushed open. Water could be heard hitting the floor as Keigo walks inside. A frown is set on his face as he notices the blanket sprawled across the couch and the remote for the tv on the floor. He takes off his jacket and slips off his shoes. He makes sure to be quiet as he walks into the bedroom. He smiles sadly upon Y/n's sleeping figure. He walks into the bathroom and takes a quick and quiet shower. Once he's done he changes into a white t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. He shuffles over to the bed and lays down next to Y/n.

"Babe?" he whispers to the h/c haired girl. She flips over to Keigo with a tired smile, "Welcome home, Pretty Bird." she says groggily. Keigo just smiles softly at her before giving her a sweet kiss. He slids down and wraps his arms around her waist. He rest his face in the crook of her neck and lets out a long sigh. Y/n lifts her hand up to his head and starts to run her hand through his blonde locks. She softly giggles as she feels him smile in content. "I love you, Pretty Bird" she says softly. "I love you too" he says as he lifts his head to kiss the tip of her nose. He smiles at her as Y/n just lefts out a soft chuckle. "Oh your such a dork."

"Atleast I'm your dork." he tilts his head playfully with a smile.
