"Could you please pass me those Math notes?" Y/N asks Jimin who nods, passing her his neat notes.
The two friends are studying together in the library, helping each other out as they try to catch up with their homework and assignments. Jimin wants to up his grades and Y/N has agreed to help him out.
"They look great! You're improving Jimin!" Y/N states, bringing a bright smile to Jimin's face.
"That's great, I couldn't have done it without your help Y/N" He states as Y/N slightly blushes.
She glances at the rest of his work and is truly satisfied. At first, she didn't want to help him out, knowing it would be difficult with her current home situation. Her parents fight all the time, it wouldn't have been comfortable.
But Jimin offered to study at his place and the library, not asking her any questions about it, making Y/N quite happy. She doesn't like to talk about her family or home, she may seem like a girl that has it all, but really she doesn't.
Sure, she is rich, intelligent and beautiful, but at the same time unhappy, sad and miserable. She likes to pretend she is okay, but deep down, she is in constant pain, a form of pain she has mastered to hide.
"I can't believe it" Jimin suddenly states, causing Y/N to frown.
"Can't believe what?" Y/N asks him as he scoffs, showing her his phone.
"This, what on earth is he thinking? No offence to your friend" Jimin states as Y/N widens her eyes whilst looking at the Instagram post in front of her.
It was a picture of Taehyung and Jihyo, kissing.

Y/N felt the tears forming in her eyes as she stared at the picture in front of her, her heart breaking at the sight. She felt all kinds of emotions going through her as she stared at his happy face whilst kissing her best friend.
The truth is, Y/N really liked Taehyung, she had a crush on him. Nothing more than that, but she had been trying to get closer to him, get to know him better and maybe tell him how she feels one day.
But now, he is with Jihyo, her best friend. It was like a stab in the heart, no, not because Taehyung chose Jihyo, but because Jihyo knew of her feelings for Taehyung, Jihyo knew exactly how she felt.
The thing is, Y/N had asked Jihyo previously to see how Taehyung thinks of her, but she told her that he thinks she isn't anything special, especially not in a romantic way. He wouldn't ever date her Jihyo said to Y/N.
That's why she stopped pursuing him, why she grew slightly distant from him. There was no use anymore right? But she wasn't stupid, she noticed how the two of them had been getting closer of the past few months.
Secretly, she wished she could have him for herself, but the truth is, Taehyung doesn't like her in that way, he likes her best friend. There is nothing she could do about it, except of feeling that horrific pain once again.
"Are you okay Y/N?" Jimin asked her with concern in his voice, but she just gave him a fake smile.
