ELLIE HADN'T REALIZED HOW MUCH time had passed by the time that Reggie and Luke returned to the studio. Apparently, she had been lost in her thoughts for over ten minutes.

"Hey," She greeted when they poofed back in, hoping they couldn't tell how upset she had been in their absence. "Is Julie home?"

The boys looked nervous. "No, not yet." Luke replied after his mouth had opened and closed a few times.

Ellie's eyebrows furrowed. "Then why were you gone for so long?"

"Well when we saw that Julie wasn't home we went to see if Ray was doing anything interesting and he wasn't so then we went to Julie's room to–" Reggie was cut off by a hand slapping over this mouth, a nervous laugh coming from the boy attached to that hand.

"Why were you in Julie's room?" Ellie asked, feeling the irritability start to creep up. "We already talked about this guys–"

"Relax, Elle." Luke said, extending his arms in a calm down motion. "We just went to get this poem that Julie had told me about last night after I gave her Bright. She mentioned wanting to put music to it so I'm gonna go ahead and do that for her."

Ellie glanced between the two of them warily. "Really?"

The two nodded a little too enthusiastically, but Ellie figured they were just being weird as usual. The brunette girl shrugged, standing up from the couch, hoping that writing music will help her get her mind off of her insecurities. "Okay. Let's get to it then." Then her thoughts from earlier came back to her and she froze. "If you guys need my help." She added quietly.

Luke and Reggie gave her weird looks. "Yeah, of course, Elle." Reggie assured. He could tell something was bothering her already from the frown she had been wearing when they poofed back into the studio, but now he was sure of it.

Ellie held back the sigh of relief that threatened to come out, shooting them a bright smile and continuing her trek to her guitar across the room.

The three ghosts all grabbed their instruments, working for a few minutes on the poem Julie wrote. I'm no time they were able to come up with a melody and began throwing around notes to accompany the lyrics. Ellie started on her guitar, but in remembering their missing member, sat behind the drums to come up with Alex's part. It payed off to play so many instruments.

"Hey, what do you think of this riff?" Luke asked, switching from strumming with his finger to using his pick as they played them a guitar riff.
