{ Ariana's POV }
"Hi Ari" Courtney said
"What's up Court" I asked as I applied some gloss on my lips
"When should I pick you up?" She asked
"Uhm wait" I said and walked to my bed where I had my phone on speakers
"We have 2pm right now and you can come at.. 5pm I think" I said
"Alright" she said
We talked some more until I hung up. When I finally finished my makeup I went to my closet and dressed into something else. I did my hair and then chilled for the rest of the day until Courtney picked me up
{ Your POV }
I was studying when an unknown number called me
"Hello?" I asked
"Y/n?" A female voice said
"Who is this?" I asked confused
"I don't want to say this on the phone. Can we meet up?" She asked
"Why won't you tell me?" I asked confused
"Because I don't know if you'll hang up" she said
"Okay. When?" I asked
"Today? At 6 PM" she said
"Uhm I actually have to study right now" I said
"It won't be long. I promise" she said
"Okay. Where?" I asked
She told me the location and then I hung up. Whoever that was, their voice sounded familiar. I studied for a couple hours, then went to take a fast shower and then laid on my bed
I looked at my watch and it was 5:35 pm so I decided to get up now. I drove to the location and texted her. She texted me back immediately and said she saw me
A girl walked over to me and my breath stopped. I'm not doing this. Not today
I turned around and started walking to my car
"Y/n wait" she called after me
"No" I said and continued walking
"Y/n please. I flew all the way from London to LA" she said
"I don't care Ella. I don't want to talk to you" I said
She grabbed my arm and turned me around. I clenched my jaw and didn't look at her
"Y/n let me explai-"
"No! I left you all behind. Don't try to ruin my life again. You did enough to me. Please leave me alone" I said
"Y/n give me one chance to talk things out. Please" she begged
"No" I said and turned around
"Wow. You've really changed a lot. The Y/n I know would've shown at least a little sympathy" she said causing me to turn around again and laugh sarcastically
"It's been four years Ella. Four fucking years. You did this to me. You all did this to me" I told her honestly
"Y/n.. plea-"
"Fuck it. If that means you'll leave me alone then fine" I said
"Yes, please" she said
"Let go of me first" I said and looked at her hand
She let go of my arm and started to walk. I thought for a second if I should just turn around and run away but I always run away, so I decided this time I wouldn't
"Your mom and dad really feel sorr-"
"Don't finish that sentence. You and me both know it's a lie. This is just part of your plan to get me back but I can tell you now, be honest or this conversation is over and this is the last time you see me" I told her
She looked shocked at me. I don't blame her. I was a completely different person now than I was before. Good changes, but bad changes as well
"O- okay. Look why don't we go get some ice cream and walk a little" she said
"If this is an attempt to fool me I swear to Go-"
"No Y/n. I promise it's not. Like you changed, I changed too. I'm not the snitch I used to be when we were younger. I'm more mature now. And I got a boyfriend" she said
"Okay? What does this have to do with you having a boyfriend?" I asked confused
"I don't know. Maybe this showed you that I'm grown now" she said causing me to chuckle
"You didn't get much smarter" I said causing her to frown
"I'm kidding" I said and followed her
We got some ice cream and started walking under the bright sun
"You know, I really changed. I'm not your old cousin who snitched on you and told everyone about something you trusted me with. I'm really sorry for outing you like that. I shouldn't have done that. I know saying that I was young isn't an excuse. I was twelve but I should've known better. I'm sorry" she said
"I'm not mad at you for that. I hate you for the way you treated your own brother. He was an angel. How is he doing?" I asked
Her brother used to be my best friend but after my gay awakening I distanced myself. I couldn't be so close with him and hide something like that from him. But I was scared to tell him. After everyone knew he never talked to me again. I don't know if it was because I was gay or because I didn't tell him
"He's doing okay. Still school-"
"Wait hold on for a second. You're just 17 aren't you? And he's 18" I said and she nodded her head slowly
"So how did you get here then hmm?" I asked and stopped walking
"I might have lied a little" she said and looked away
I raised my eyebrows and stared at her
"Okay fine. I'll tell you. I came here with my mom, dad and him. And not for you" she said
