Chloe POV:

"Chloe slow down!" Olivero yelled trying to catch up with me. There was no way I would show down on a day like this! Today is the day that Marinette is coming back to school! We had already decorated the classroom, so it was up to Olivero and I to greet her and bring her to the party.

"Even if she is always late, that doesn't mean she will be today!" I tell him as we make it to the entrance.

"Florece slow down!" Olivero said catching up out of breath.

"For an assassin you are kind of slow." I mutter to him. "Wait 'florece' what is that."

"Well, your name Chloe means blooming if you didn't know." Olivero tells me. I did not know that. "I thought it was symbolic since you have really grown into your own person. Florece is blooms in Spanish mi amor."

"Olivero you always say the most romantic things! I don't do nicknames though. " I smile, I then spot Marinette and Adrien. "Wait is that Adrien? ADRIKINS!!!"

"Chloe! I thought we agreed you would never call me that anymore." Adrien said to me. I walk down the stairs smiling.

"It was a joke obvi! You can never run away from your childhood nickname. Hello Marinette!" I smiled, walking up to her to give her a hug. As I did she moved away from me!

"What are you doing?" Marinette asked with a harsh tone. What is going on?

"Giving you a hug! What else would I be doing?" I said, trying to give Marinette another one, in which she moved again.

"And why would you do that? Are you trying to rub something on me?" Marinette asked. I then realized she doesn't remember anything over the past couple years, which includes me not being mean to her anymore.

"OH! I get it now." I giggle. "Okay so you know how I bullied you from basically Kindergarten to the 9th grade?"

"Yes?!" Marinette answered.

"Well, we got over that and are friends now! Surprise and congrats!" I said.

"That seems hard to believe." She says. My heart drops. Why isn't this as easy as I thought?

"It's true Marinette.  You guys are friends now." Adrien tells her.

"Are you not her childhood friend? She just said so?" Marinette asked him. Adrien looked at her with confusion.

"Marinette what are you saying?" Adrien asked.

"Forget it." Marinette says, walking off from us.  I can't believe this.

"Marinette it is not like that anymore. I have changed okay?" I yell to her.

"I have class.  Hopefully you don't put gum on my chair again." Marinette shouts back at me. I don't respond, afraid I will make it worse.

"Wait what happened?" Olivero asked, running up to me. I shake my head.

"Nothing, just history coming back to bite me." I fake a smile. Olivero looks me in my eye, and knowing I don't want him to ask he doesn't.

"She will come around. If she did once she will again so don't be too upset!" Adrien smiles.

"That's easy for you to say." I tell him. "She doesn't remember you at all. You can start over, I can't."

"Its easy to say because I know who you are Chloe. Just be yourself, and it will work out eventually." Olivero smiled, kissing my forehead. I smiled back at him.

"I guess this is why I keep you around." I tell him.

"Perhaps." Olivero chuckled.

I get to the room and the room is filled with people congratulating Marinette

"Thank you so much Alya!" Marinette smiled at her, giving her a hug. Alya and I's eyes meet, and she smiled.

"I can't take all the credit.  It was a team effort.  If you wanna thank someone for planning, thank Chloe!" Alya cheesed. My face grew pink.

"Chloe?" Marinette gaged.

"Yeah! She assigned everyone something to bring something." Alya told her. I then walked in the room, passing Marinette

"I really hope you enjoy it." I told her, forcing a smile.

"Thank you Chloe. This was so nice of you." Marinette tells me. I stare at her, walking closer, and Marinette sticks her hand out at me and shakes my hand.

"Of course." I tell her.
