(13) Sister vs. Sister Pt II

A year later 

Sophomore year of college had begun. Gabi and Jade were in class while some of the others were studying. Nat and Wanda were leaving the library when they seen Val. 

"Is that Dillan she is trying to talk to?" Nat whispered 

"Let's watch." Wanda whispered 

"So Dillan..how much longer are you going to be staying with my sister? I mean she isn't that much fun..and she is such a total poser.." Val said as she twirled her hair. 

"Forever. I proposed to her over the summer and she said yes." Dillan said 

"Psh..you want to marry my boring Tom boy sister. Who never cared for sports before in her life till college? When you could have this?" She said as she ran her hands all down her body .

"Valentina. I see right through you. You use people to get what you want no matter who you hurt in the process. You are ugly on the inside and that's what matters the most to me. And you are nothing but a hoe with a ugly heart. Your sister on the other hand yes she is a Tom boy but she has a beautiful heart and that's more than I can say for you. I love her and you won't pull me into your trap like you did Barnes. I'm a lot stronger than he was." Dillan said then he walked off. 

Val stood there. "Call me if you change ya mind." She said. 

"We have to find Gabi..now." Nat said 

They waited outside her class building. 

"Hey girls." Yelena said

"No time for pleasantries." Wanda said as they all went to lunch. 

Steve was sitting close by while he ate his lunch. He heard what all the girls said about how Val was trying to lure Dillan. Gabi felt Dillan beside her as he kissed her cheek. 

"Baby?" He said 

"She tried with you?" She said 

"Yes but I handled it. I'm sure they told you that." He said when he seen the girls. 

"They did." She said 

That afternoon Gabi waited for her sister to be done with cheer. When she saw through the doors that the cheer squad was done. She went inside as she made a bee line for her sister. She hauled off and punched her. 

"How dare you! How fucking dare you try and steal my fiancé you stupid punta! He is mine not yours!" She yelled 

Val punched her back. They both began to throw punches and pull hair. The football coach and cheer coach pulled them apart. 

"Girls.." the cheer coach said 

Half the football team seen the fight.

 "¡Mantente fuera de mi vida! ¡Deja de ser tan desagradable" she said

Dillan came over to her and helped her wipe her face. "Baby there was no need for that. I told you I handled it." He said 

She had tears fall. "Gabriela baby.". He said as he hugged her. 

"What did I miss?" Bucky said 

"A lot." Steve said as they got in Steve's truck. 

As soon as they got to their place Bucky poured them shots. 

"Apparently Val tried to lure Dillan." Steve said 

"Wow..." he said as he did his shot. 

"Yeah..Fucking Valentina. She'll do anything for a good time or hurt Gabi. Of all the things to do she goes after her sister's fiancé." Steve said 

"Did you just say fiancé?" Bucky said 

"Yeah. He proposed to her over the summer. Did you not see the pics?" Steve said 

"Steve to be honest I've been dealing with a lot of shit lately with my mom's cancer back. And I'm not friends with either one of them on Facebook." He said 

"Sorry.." Steve said 

"Valentina ruined everything for me. I lost Gabi..the one girl in my life that I have never felt more connected to. I was so concerned about being Mr Football and other girls. I never noticed that she was in love with me. And when she kissed me that night..I just I don't know." Bucky said 

"Yeah I don't know what to say Buck. Cause nothing I say is going to change it." Steve said 

"I do. You are an idiot Buck. Thanks I know.." Bucky said as he poured him more shots.
