I was hunched over the cradle looking over the percentage, "This framework is not compatible." Tony says.

"The genetic coding tower's at ninety-seven percent. You have got to upload that schematic in the next three minutes." I say to him.

"I'm gonna say this once." I look up as Steve comes in with a woman.

"How about "nonce"?" Tony says.

"Shut it down!" Steve raises his voice.

"Nope, not gonna happen." Tony shakes his head.

"You don't know what you're doing." Steve says angrily.

"And you do? She's not in your head?" I asked

"I know you're angry." The woman starts.

"Oh, we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade." Bruce huffs.

"Banner, after everything that's happened..." Steve shakes his head.

"That's nothing compared to what's coming!" I yell.

"You don't know what's in there!" The woman yells.

"This isn't a game..." Steve says sternly.

"The creature..." As the woman is talking, something runs by and unplugs everything.

"Go on. You were saying?" suddenly Barton shoots a bullet below caused the glass The man was standing on start to smash and he falls through.

"Pietro!"

Bruce grabs the woman, "Go ahead, piss me off." Tony puts in his suit in his arm and aims for Steve.

Suddenly Thor enters and pounds the cradle with his hammer, sending a powerful bolt of lightning that brings the body to life. "Wait!" Steve yells. We all look in shock at the body kneels down and looks at us.

The body stares at Thor and lunges at him, making Thor throw him out of the lab. I Teleport behind him and get ready to blast the him, but Thor stops me. "I'm sorry, that was...odd. Thank you." The body says.

"Thor, you helped create this?" Steve asks.

"I've had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at it's center is that." Thor points to the gem inside the body's head.

"What, the gem?" Bruce asks.

"It's the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities." Thor nods.

Steve tilts his head, "Then why would you bring it to..."

"Because Stark is right." Thor interrupts Steve.

"Oh, it's definitely the end times." I smirk.

"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron." Thor says.

"Not alone." The body says.

"Why does your "vision" sound like Jarvis?" Steve asks.

"We...we reconfigured JARVIS' matrix to create something new." I say to Steve.

Steve shakes his head, "I think I've had my fill of new."

"You think I'm a child of Ultron?"

"You're not?" Steve asks.

"I'm not Ultron. I'm not Jarvis. I am...I am."

"I looked in your head and saw annihilation." The woman says.

"Look again."

"Yeah. Her seal of approval means jack to me." Clint huffs.

"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone, and they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side..." Thor points at the two and me.

"Is it? Are you? On our side?" Steve asks.

"I don't think it's that simple."

Clint chuckles, "Well it better get real simple real soon."

"I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't, he will end it all."

"What's he waiting for?" Tony asks.

"You."

"Where?" I ask.

"Sokovia. He's got Nat there too." Clint nods.

"If we're wrong about you, if you're the monster that Ultron made you to be..." Bruce starts:

"What will you do?" he looks at us all realizing they will destroy him. "I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique, and he's in pain. But that pain will roll over the earth, so he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go." He holds up Thor's hammer and hands it to him, He walks off and everyone stares in shock.

"Right." Thor pats Tony on the shoulder. "Well done."

"Three minutes. Get what you need." Steve nods at us.

Since I already have my suit on I walk over to vision who is hovering above the ground, looking out the window. I fly up to him and smile. "Vision?" I ask.

"I like that." He nods, referring to the name.

"May I?" I point to his head.

"Of course." He smiles and bows his head. I put my hand on top of the stone and close my eyes. I see flashes of life, of purpose. There's beauty inside. He was telling the truth. "What did you see?"

"That your telling the truth." I smile, flying down to the ground.

"Hey, Y/N." I hear Steve say.

"Hey, sorry about earlier." I smile.

"Me too." He nods.

"I can't wait for this to be over....I can't wait to be your wife." I wink.

"Trust me...I can't wait either." He whispers, smiling softly and walking away. I take time to check him out as he walks, as my eyes scan to his lower half and back up I notice he stopped. He shakes his head and blushes as he walks away.

When we all meet in the Jet, Steve starts his speech. "Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him......

It's about whether he's right."
