Lilith is a Black girl with 4 brothers, she lives in England and today she is moving to Paris...

Lilith packs her clothes whilst her favourite song (Merry go round of life) is playing on her Record player; She is dancing swiftly around the room with out a worry in her mind, when suddenly *BANG*.

"LILITH, HURRY UP AND PACK YOUR CLOTHES, WE HAVE ALOT TO DO AND WE LEAVE IN 1 HOUR!" Her mother says angrily.

"Yes mother, I understand, I shall go quicker now!" Lilith shouts from upstairs so that her mother can hear her.

Lilith chuckles and doesn't up her speed. She finishes packing her bag and runs down stairs to see a chaotic household around her. She laughs and rushes to the door to put her socks, shoes, and coat on.

"I'm off mother!, I'll see you in half and hour okay?" Lilith said in a rush.

"Lilith you know what to pick up, right?" said her mother.

"Yes mother, Lilith chuckled, you don't have to tell me again!"

"Stay safe Lilith, and hurry up girl!"

Lilith opened the door and entered the busy streets of London around her, she rushed the through the crowd of people in a hurry and finally reached her destination. There was a young tall boy at the door (around Lilith's age) wearing cream trousers, a blue coat and had his long blonde hair tied back, he had blue eyes and he was very handsome.

"Out of the way boy, I need to get some goods." Lilith said annoyed.

"Hey hey!", the boy moved out of the way whilst Lilith pushed past him, "You don't have to tell me twice!" He said in a French-English accent.

She went into the shop and smelt the sweet candles around her.

"Hello aunty may, long time no see, there's a boy at your door just hovering over customers as they come in, what's that about|?"

"Oh ya' mean Jefferson?"

Lilith makes a face of confusion.

"Jefferson is just a family friend I was takin' in while you were gone, ya' see, 'is ol' man got into some trouble with the gov' and now ees' stayin' wi' me, but ees' goin' ome' today."

Lilith looks at Jefferson in sadness and feels regret flowing through her body, Jefferson realised her look from the side of his eye and Lilith turned back quickly.

"Thank you aunty may, I'll see you!"

"Bye Bye Lilith swee'art', be safe now!"

"I will, thanks!"

Lilith turns back to Jefferson and and leaves the shop. Thoughts filled her head questioning if she should say sorry for her attitude earlier. She abruptly stopped her walking, turned around and walks back to Jefferson.

"Listen.. I'm  sorry for pushing you earlier..." Lilith says with a sorry look on her face.

Jefferson see's her face and knows what she's doing, he doesn't like it AT ALL.

"Listen, whoever you are-"

Lilith interrupts him.

"Lilith, the name's Lilith." She smiles.

"Well then listen 'Lilith', I don't need your pity, I've enough of everyone else's." He says with a frustrated look on his face.

"Awww", Lilith laughs, "Did I make pwetty boy angwy?" She says in a baby voice.

"Just leave me alone!" Jefferson shouts.

The whole shops goes silent.

Lilith smiles, "Gladly."

Lilith walks away looking as confident as ever she catches the eye of Jefferson looking her up and down, but she pretends not to realise. As soon as she was out of his sight, she ran back home and this time the streets of London weren't so busy so it was easier for her.

When she reaches home, she opens the door to see the house clean and empty, the chaos had calmed down from before she got there. she placed the things that her mother wanted on the kitchen counter because there was nowhere else to put it. You see, Lilith's family are buttload WEALTHY, because of this, she and her family weren't respected as much and this also cause problems for Lilith; Every one just assumed she was a snobby, wealthy rich girl who didn't care for anyone, but really, she was the COMPLETE opposite. Lilith didn't mind this, her mother explained it happened to her as well, its just people being people.

"Mother!" ,Lilith called, "The things you need are on the kitchen counter!"

"Okay thank you darling, your free to do whatever for the next 20 minutes now!"

Lilith burst with excitement, this had never happened before! she decided to help her family load their luggage into the moving carriages for the first 10 minutes and as soon as she was done, she ran upstairs and went flung open her window, he was there! Her best friend Charles!

"Charles, I'm gonna miss you."

"Stop your making this even harder." he chuckles.

"It's not funny, I won't be able to see you until-"

He cuts her off.

"Let's dance Lilith."

"I beg your pardon?" she says confused.

"Let this be our last dance until we get to see each other again."

"As best Friends?" she says interestingly.

"As best friends." he adds.

You turn on your record player and play Merry go round of life.

"This our song Charles."

You start dancing.

The songs ends and Lilith falls into his chest crying, "I don't want to leave you Charles, you're my only friend!"

"Lilith, don't worry about it, you're going to make friends, I promise."

"Promise?" she says with tears trickling down her face.

"Promise." He gives her a kiss on the forehead and starts crying but tries to wipe the tears away as quick as he can.

Thy hug for a very long time and all of a sudden, she hears her mother call for her name.

"Lilith, get down here now, the carriage is leaving in 5 minutes!" she screamed from the top her lungs.

Lilith digs her head deep into Charles' chest and smells his sweet lavender scent one more time.

She runs away without saying goodbye and Charles knows why. "It would be too hard for the both of us..." he whispers under his breath.

Lilith Pops her shoes, socks and coat on and walks outside.

"Wait Lilith carry your twin brothers into the carriage for me please while your older brothers and your father carry the load the rest of the luggage."

"Ok." she said softly.

As the rest of the family enter their escort, Lilith looks up at Charles' window to see him looking at her as well, they both look away at the same time, and never looked back...
