This is basically just something based off. of what I need right now, put into the form of a Jefhalo oneshot.

For a summary of the prompt, Jef is feeling uncared for and feels like he puts his all into everyone besides himself. One day, Good finds Jef on the floor, crying, and tries to soothe him.

-_'*'_-

Jef sat on the floor, the stinging tears flooding down his face. He felt frozen, he felt weak, he felt useless. He felt a lot of things, yet he never felt like he was enough.

Good has some knowledge of what Jef felt, but never truly knew, Jef always kept it mainly a secret.

As Jef felt his face tense up and have the needles start to prick down, he only started to cry more and more, something in his head repeating the word "useless" over and over.

Jef heard the door creak, and footsteps making their way towards him, "Jef, are you okay?" I hear Good ask before I feel someone, I assume Good, grab me gently and picking me up.

I only groan in response, tears still going down, just not as fast or as frequent as before. He sighs before asking if I was alright.

"I'm fine."

"Liar."

"So? Why do you care? It's not like anyone cares," Jef mumbles, looking down at the ground, nor even feeling the energy to make eye contact.

"Jef, what can I do to help?"

"I don't need anything, you should-," Jef was cut off by a slightly angry Good, "Jef, cut the bullshit out and tell me what you need right now."

Jef stayed quiet, slightly surprised at how persistent Good was acting. Staring at the ground, Jef started to go into a trance, one beyond the world.

(For context, whenever I'm trying to keep myself together in front of someone, I'll stare at something and just lose focus of everything around me and just stare until I realize that I've been staring at it.)

Good sighs, giving Jef a small hug, "Jef, you have to talk to me. I know that you aren't okay, but I don't know how to help, and I do want to."

Jef just stares at the ground, something in his mind making him feel bad for making Good want to even waste a second on him.

"How about we go get watch something? What's that show you like? Biku No Hero Academia? Boko?" Good asks, starting to stumble on his pronunciation.

(I chose a random show, mhm.) (THAT LAST ONE WAS 420, HAHA FUNNY NUMBER!)

Jef looks up at Good and gives a small smile, "Sure," Jef pauses, trying to swallow the feeling of sadness, "Let's do it."

"Jef, just know, when you're with me, I promise everything will be okay." Good assures the smaller male, and for once, the smaller make actually believed it was going to be okay.
