Ch. 4 "Taking advantage of"

                                                                   Harper POV 

It was 2Am when my phone rang, 

I groaned I turned over, I looked at the screen seeing it was my mom, I sighed turning on the lamp 

"Hello," I said sitting up, 

"You mind telling me why I can't access your account?" My mom said 

You see I gave well scratch that, she demanded a card from my bank account for emergencies, but she uses it thinking it was unlimited money supply, 

"I don't know?" I said 

Because truthfully I didn't I don't know anything about it, 

"How do you not know! it's your account god Harper your useless!" She said 

"Mom it's really early I have to work in the morning," I said 

"Right at the University," She said scoffing 

"You better find out, You know we need the money!" She said 

"Yeah, I'll call the bank tomorrow," I said 

"Good!" She said hanging up

I looked down at my phone the black screen, I get dressed because after that phone call I knew I wasn't going to sleep, I thought 

I walked out of the room to the kitchen of the pent house, Tony insisted on me staying on this floor with him and Pepper, since I'm not exactly the social type, 

I started the coffee, I was stretch to grab a coffee cup, you see I'm a bit on the petite side, finally I reached the coffee cup, 

after filling the coffee, I make my way down to the lab, I know Bruce won't be in yet, it will give me time to catch up, 

I turn on the light, I sit at the desk in the corner, and look at all the papers, sipping my coffee every now and again 

I loged on to the computer, my fingers typing a mile a minute, I got to my bank account and see that its got a block on it, 

"What the hell?" I mumbled 

"Hey Cap hear's that language he might have a heart attack," Tony said walking in, 

"What are you doing up at this time anyway?" Tony said 

"My mom called, saying her card isn't working," I said looking at the screen 

"And now my account is saying it's blocked?" I said confused 

"Yeah, that was me, I had a suspicion about your parents stealing money from you the way your money kept dropping even though you've been here and not spending money since everything is here," He said 

I looked at him, 

"Why did you do that?" I asked tiredly

"Because you are not their bank account," Tony said leaning against the desk

"I know that, but she was very ma-" I began 

"Don't care it's not her money," Tony said 

"Look, until you realize that you don't owe them anything, I'm keeping your account froze," He said 

"You do realize I could hack into that if I wanted to," i said 

"I know that's why I put thirteen firewalls so you couldn't," He said
