"Chiaki?!"

I could feel myself sweating. Was this for real? Is this really happening?

"𝐻𝑎𝑗𝑖𝑚𝑒.. 𝑖 𝑘𝑛𝑒𝑤 𝑖'𝑑 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛."

"C-Chiaki..? I'd it really you?"

She slowly nodded, placing her cold hands over mine. I started tearing up.

"𝐻𝑒𝑦 ℎ𝑒𝑦.. 𝑤𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑛𝑜 𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑠 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡 𝑤𝑒?" She places her hand on my face, wiping my tears. This only made me cry harder

"Chiaki I've missed you so much you don't understand it.."

She pulls her hand off of my face and pulls me into a hug. I'm surrounded by warmth and comfort. I don't even have any words. I don't know what to say. Shes really here. I finally hug back. Is this for real? God please tell me I'm not dreaming.

"𝐷𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑐𝑟𝑦.. 𝑦𝑜𝑢'𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑘𝑎𝑦 𝑛𝑜𝑤. 𝐼'𝑚 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑛𝑜𝑤."

I choke back more tears and hold onto her as I never had before.

"Chiaki.. if only I could of saved you. I miss you so much that I can't even express it in words or actions.."

She rests her head on my shoulder.

"𝐻𝑎𝑗𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑖𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑙𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡. 𝑁𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑓𝑎𝑢𝑙𝑡.𝑌𝑜𝑢'𝑣𝑒 𝑏𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑎 𝑙𝑜𝑡. 𝑃𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑛𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑔."

All of a sudden the world starts to fade.

"𝑆𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑦.. 𝐼 𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑢𝑝. 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝑡𝑜𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑜𝑤 𝑏𝑦 𝑝𝑢𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑐 𝑠𝑙𝑜𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑣! 𝐼𝑡'𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒. 𝑀𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑣𝑟 𝑠𝑒𝑡! 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑜𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑜𝑤 𝐻𝑎𝑗𝑖𝑚𝑒."

She smiles softly and hands me a disc.

"Chiaki!Wait!"

I reach out to grab her hand but she vanished. I feel tears running down my cheeks. Was it really all over like that? The screen turns black with a "𝔾𝕒𝕞𝕖 𝕆𝕧𝕖𝕣." Text. I take off the headset and hand sensors. I look around. That happy virtual world is gone and replaced by Chiaki's room. I sigh and look down. She really gave me a disc! So it wasn't a dream after all! I really saw her and talked to her again.. even if it wasn't for long, it still meant a lot to me. I smiled and wiped my tears. I guess I had to make my way to get breakfast now. The others were waiting on me. I return her headset and hand sensors to their original place and put the disc in my pocket. I walk out of the room and quickly make my way to meet the others.

Akane:"Took you long enough!I'm starvin!"

"Ah, sorry. Monokuma was causing a bit of trouble."

Fuyuhiko: "What took you so long in the first place. You're acting weirder than always."

"It's nothing to worry about. Wait- Weird as always?!"

Akane: "Can you two just shut up? I just want to get some of that delicious food in my mouth!"

Akane runs off to grab her food as we all sigh and run after her. My mind still can't help but wonder if I could really see Chiaki again. Was it all part of my imagination? No.. that's wrong. I have a disc. She gave it to me, it's definitely not my imagination. Maybe I really can see her again..

Maybe this place isn't so bad afterall..
