There are times I'd like to think of the moon
Gazing at the stars like how I stare at you
It's been weeks, yet it seems so soon
To remember you as bright, as blueLike the sky, strangely stippled, and peaceful
Perhaps a memory is only my weapon
We get each other almost as fateful
The attraction that a magnet could beckonAt this point my mind is an overflowing river
I think of you when I'm supposed to forget
A shadow, not even an option to consider
Not trying for you is my forever regretIn lonesome, all I can do is imagine
The things we would do if we had a chance
How your hugs grasp my skin like satin
The moon is still, like you at first glance
