Approach 4: A Sweet Valentine

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day

And I couldn't be more excited knowing that I have a girlfriend to spend it with now

Mostly, I would just go on dates with girls that I don't even have a connection with

But this time, it's different

For we have a connection, and I've seen and experienced it first hand

I feel lethargic listening to another whole discussion about Mars and stuff

Ever since the league took out the Injustice League, the tides have been pretty calm lately

I felt my eyelids slowly drooping with a pen on my hand almost falling to the ground

Casually, I took a glance of the girl behind me to see what she was doing

And as usual...

She's listening attentively to the person in front discussing about the life forms and how Martians procreate back at his planet

Diana was glowing today for some reason, like something was special about her on this specific day itself

It's probably just me but every time I look at her like this, I just want to keep it that way

Her beautiful jaw length raven hair, slim neck, pink rosy lips and cream skin

Oh how I wished we could spend more time together than the usual walking home together scenario

It was lunchtime as I sat on my seat with wondering eyes towards the other members

Zatanna and Liz had a very special staff lunch, which means I'm eating by myself as of this moment

And so I bought all these chicken sandwiches for no reason, which I have to eat by myself...

My gaze was diverted on a specific table where the founding members were eating at. Superman was happily talking about something which I can't really hear that much, but it had something to do with Kansas

Green Lantern and Flash was laughing along with each other, and Aquaman was heavily drinking his mug full of whiskey.

They seem to be enjoying themselves.

For some reason I felt something odd all of a sudden, like somebody was watching me or something. I slowly turned to the other side and noticed that no one was actually looking

Probably just my imagination.

I took a bite of my chicken sandwich when suddenly a certain lady joined me in my lonesome feast

It was Vixen, the newbie

"Hey Batman, we haven't really met yet but my name is..."

"Vixen. I know" I responded with a reassuring smile

I saw her breathe a sigh of relief as she took a seat in front of me

"Do you need something?" I asked

"Well, there is, but I don't want to disturb your meal"

I nodded in response as she stares at the sandwiches on my tray

"are you gonna eat all that?" she asked curiously

"No, something came up which led to this" I answered

"Would you like to have some?"

"Hell yeah" she responded as she reached a sandwich from my tray
