The first things you have to do to get a girlfriend are very simple. Be kind, laugh at her jokes, hang out, you know, all the most basic things ever in the category of relationships. You may think all these things are easy but you may find that hard if you find the girl that you truly like. She might resist and friend-zone you or she will fall in love and you two can live happily ever after. Just ask her out and wait for a reply.
No matter what she does, don't make a big deal of it. If she resists just act calm and ask if you could "just be friends." Sometimes girls just want to hang out with all their friends and not have to worry about dating. Don't take it personally, she probably likes you but doesn't want a relationship. If she does say yes then don't "over react" just play it cool, but not too cool. Don't hide all your feelings but don't be so happy that it creeps her out.
