Kermit's point of view:

It's been a while since I've been on a plane.  Actually it has been 4 years, to the day, 4 years ago I left Meme Town and flew to China.  To film for a kid's show of course.  I remember the day I left so clearly.  I remember buying whipped cream, coming home, sulking for some reason, and then getting a call...  It was Boo!Xen Entertainment.  They offered me the biggest deal of my life.  One that I, in my upset and impulsive state, could not decline.  Sometimes I think I regret it, sometimes I'm okay with it, and sometimes I think it was the best choice I had.  You might be wondering what the deal I made with them was.  Well, they offered me a lead role in a popular kids TV show, the opportunity to continue my education with a fully paid scholarship, and a luxury apartment.  Not so bad, right?  I mean, I guess it really wasn't so bad.  I was learning Mandarin, making new friends, building my portfolio, and getting a degree in acting.  I was having the cleanest path paved for me right as I walked, yet I dared to feel homesick.  Was I even homesick?  Is that what I was feeling?  I just knew I was missing something from home.  Or...maybe someone, I-I don't know.

I remember the night when I finally arrived in China.  I was so tired and I was feeling a brew of emotions.  Just over a day ago I had been in my room feeling depressed, eating whipped cream, and now I'm in some fancy apartment in Dongyang, China.  I remember laying on the bed, but not being able to sleep despite my exhaustion.  "I just need something to eat" I thought to myself.  I slowly got up and stammered to the door.  I was out in the hallway when I saw her.  I heard my door click shut and her eyes met mine.  She brushed her platinum ringlets of hair to the side and smiled with her rose colored lips.  A familiar face would have been comforting if it had not been hers.

"Oh golly, Kermit, is that really you?"
"Oh wow, uh Miss Piggy, hi!"
"Been a while, hmm?"
"Uh yeah it has haha."
"You don't really seem all that thrilled to see me."
"Oh I'm just really jet lagged, can't process anything at the moment...you know?"
"Did you just fly here?"
"Yeah, about an hour or two ago."
"Flight was awful, wasn't it?"
"Yeah.  Anyway, is this where you left to a year ago?"
"Ah yes!  I've been filming for Symphony of Thorns."
"Wait that romance drama?  It's even popular in Meme Town, though I never watched it..."
"I guess you'll have to some time then hehe.  What are you here for by the way?"
"I'm filming for a kids show.  Kind of lame compared to you huh?"
"That's not lame.  That's totally on brand for you."

I remember us walking down the hallway, exchanging words and laughs, and getting a bite to eat.  Miss Piggy is just a really remarkable person.  Nice, pretty, smart, talented, she really has it all.  She always wore flattering cocktail dresses that would accentuate her in all the right places.  She used to get in so much trouble in school for wearing those dresses.  Mr. Podrey always yelling at her for violating dress code, sometimes he even made her wear a ridiculously frumpy winter coat for modesty.  Somehow she still made it look good.  Thinking about those times makes me laugh a little.  And now we're in China eating dumplings.

Walking back to the apartment complex was something else.  I felt so dreary and drained of energy, I was dragging my feet every step of the way.  "Miss Piggy, how do you walk in those heels?" I asked.  She smiled and clutched her bag in front of her with both hands and looked at me.  "I guess I don't really remember walking without them." she said.  We chatted as we went and finally made it back.  We, headed to the apartment building elevator and went in.  I walked in and leaned against the elevator walls and tilted my head back, letting a large sigh out.  Miss Piggy got in and glanced at me, making a quiet giggle.  She pressed the button for floor 7 and the doors closed.  She stepped back and leaned against the wall with me, her head turned towards mine.  I remember feeling so tired, my vision a little blurry, the dim elevator lights, all of it made it seem like time slowed, and I just watched her blink.  Her eyes were such a pretty shade of blue, her lashes were so lush, and her purple eye shadow shimmered.  "Thank you." I muttered.  She stopped leaning against the wall and completely turned to me.  "For what?" she asked.  I looked down at the floor and stayed silent for a little.  "For spending this time with me."  I replied.  Miss Piggy looked at me for a while, and the elevator stopped.  The doors opened and we walked out.

"I'm sorry I never called or anything."
"Kermit..."
"I know we didn't really end things the way we should have, or something."
"It's okay.  It feels like such a long time ago, and honestly I think we've both matured since then."
"In one year?  I mean, you definitely have.  Yeah, why are you so much cooler now?"
"Kermit, you're like, a half foot taller you look so much like a grown man now."

We giggled together, and continued back to my apartment door.  She walked to the door after mine and grabbed her key out of her bag.  "Goodbye neighbor!" she said with a smile, right before entering her flat.  "Yeah, goodbye..." I whispered, and then walked inside.  And that was my first night in China.  The rest of the time I filmed, studied, and had the occasional chat with Miss Piggy.  But now that the show has finished production, I'm going back to Meme Town.  I'm still not done getting my degree, I can't believe I have to transfer to a new university.  "Oh gosh, how much progress am I losing by doing this?"  I periodically fell asleep in my plane seat, sometimes waking up due to turbulence, or the clanging of the snack cart, until I fell asleep for a final time.

I woke up and the plane was landed.  I grabbed my luggage and walked out of the plane into the airport.  I saw Miss Piggy waiting for me.  She had flew back to Meme Town about 2 months ago.  I ran over to her, almost tripping a few times.  "Miss Piggy!  Hey!  Thank you so much for picking me up." I said.  She grabbed one of my suitcases and we started walking.  "Gosh Kermit it's no trouble at all.  You really travel light, huh?"  We left the airport into the parking lot where Miss Piggy's car was parked.  I stuffed my luggage into the trunk of her car and got into the passenger's side.  Miss Piggy smiled at me and started to back out.  "Wow I'm so tired even though I slept so long." I said.  "Yeah, flying to and from China really sucks." she said back.  "I can't believe you have to fly back in 3 months Miss Piggy.  You have to fly so much."  Miss Piggy had been staying at my old house back in Meme Town while she was here.  We're temporarily going to be living together until her flight back to Dongyang.  "Hey Kermit, how about we get some coffee?" Miss Piggy asked.  I looked at her and  nodded in agreement.

About 15 minutes later we got to the café.  It was a newer shop, opened in the last couple of years since it wasn't here when I left.  The inside was busy and packed full of people.  I glanced at Miss Piggy with a doubtful look, but she smiled and reassured me it would be okay.  I got out of the car and walked with Miss Piggy.  I opened the door for her, and as she went in, all eyes shifted to hers.  Of course she'd get recognized, she was a star in an extremely popular foreign romance drama, and that was on top of her gorgeous looks.  A crowd of unknown faces gathered around me and Miss Piggy, until I saw someone who looked familiar.  I squinted and looked at a guy with fluffy blond hair.  That's Doge.  That is Doge from high school oh God.  I watched Doge back away into the sea of people.  I turned to Miss Piggy to see how she was dealing, but she was fine and signing autographs.  I looked away and felt someone bump into me.  I heard a faint "Oh I'm sorry."  When I looked down, all I saw was whipped cream on my jacket.  Must've spilled on me when that guy bumped into me...why does that make me feel...something?

The crowd finally started to settle so I went to the counter to order and grab napkins to wipe the whipped cream off my clothes.  I grabbed a handful of napkins and began to clean my shirt.  As I did so I ordered a vanilla cappuccino for Miss Piggy, two croissants, and...a hot chocolate with extra whipped cream for me.  I waited until my order was ready, then awkwardly carried our food and drinks to the table Miss Piggy chose.  I set our stuff down then sat in the seat across from her.  She took her drink and sipped from it, I did the same with my hot chocolate.  I looked up at her and let out a small laugh.  She stopped drinking and smiled.  "What?" she said with a laugh.  "You're a big shot and you're drinking coffee at a café in Meme Town." I replied.  She rolled her eyes with a smile then leaned her head on her hand.  We sat in the café for about half an hour eating, drinking, and talking before we decided to leave.  Miss Piggy waved goodbye, and signed a few autographs on the way out, I even got asked for an autograph for a woman's son which made me blush a little.  We got in the car and Miss Piggy turned on some quiet music.  "Hey, the house kitchen is kind of empty, do you mind if we go to MemeMart to pick up some groceries?" she said.  "Yeah totally, I need to get a few things too." I said back.

The drive to MemeMart was peaceful, Miss Piggy hummed and sang to the car radio, and I leaned back in my seat, enjoying that.  She was a decent singer, and her bubbly voice and personality is nice to hear.  We arrived at MemeMart soon and pulled into the parking lot.  As we walked in Miss Piggy picked up a shopping basket.  We walked all through the store, getting what we needed, which wasn't much.  Juice, canned foods, milk for the house, and I wanted lens wipes and whipped cream.  We had gotten everything, and all that was left was the whipped cream.  We stood there, looking at the various creams.  I felt an overwhelming feeling of unexplainable déjà vu.  Miss Piggy walked over with the shopping basket, and grabbed my arm to lean on it.  "Kermiiiiit" she whined.  "Can you please carry the basket?  Come on I had to pick you up so so so early in the morning.  I'm tired."  I couldn't see her face but I know she said it through a smile.  Before I reached for the basket, the feeling of déjà vu grew even more.  I heard footsteps beside me that stopped as quickly as they started.  I looked over and saw a guy with a beanie pulled down.  He looked shaky and panicked as he stared down.  For some reason, a name popped up in my head as I glanced at him.  Pepe.
