"No. No no no." I wimpered as I pulled at the cuffs that were chaining me to the bed. "Violet?" Peter asked as he came into the room.

"No! Let me go." I begged as I started to cry again. "Sweetheart, what happened?" He asked and held both sides of my face. "I want to go home!" I screamed and writhed around as he shook his head.

"You are home, Violet." Peter said as I pulled harder on the chains. I just screamed and sobbed as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest.

"Come back, Violet. Come back to me." He mumbled as I screamed and cried. "No! Please god let me go!" I screamed as he shook my shoulders aggressively.

"Colby!" I screamed and sobbed as I closed my eyes as hard as I could. I wanted to wake up from the nightmare that I couldn't escape from.

"Wake up! Wake up, Violet!" Someone yelled as I screamed and cried. "Leave me alone! Let me go home!" I screamed as Peter tightened his grip on me.

"Violet, baby please!" Colby's voice screamed out as Peter pulled away and smacked me, causing me to open my eyes.

When I did this I was in my bedroom at the house, breathing heavily as Colby held me tightly. "I-I..." I started as Kat came running into the room with some water.

"There you are, you're okay." Colby said quietly as I tried to catch my breath and looked around the room. "L-let me go." I begged as my heart raced. "Shhhh....you're okay." Colby said and pulled me closer, running his fingers through my hair.

"Drink some water, V." Kat said as Sam sat on the bed and rubbed my back. "I-I-" I stuttered out as Colby kissed my head.

"It was just a nightmare, V. You're home now. You're safe." Colby cooed and reached for the water that Kat was offering. He brought the water to my lips as my eyes darted around the room.

I couldn't wrap my head around how realistic that dream was. It felt like I was really back there and that I was never found. It made me worried for the future.

Would I ever be normal again?

I took a couple big sips of the water then pulled away so I could try and catch my breath again. "Sorry." I whispered as Colby pulled me into his chest again. "Shh, don't do that." He said and scratched my back, giving me a sense of comfort.

I don't know how long it took to fully calm down but I was finally able to breath now. Sam and Kat went back to bed as soon as they knew I was okay.

"Sorry for waking you." I said as I brushed my hair behind my ears. "It's not your fault, baby....I think we should maybe look into seeing someone though." He said quietly as I nodded.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I agree." I said as we laid back down. "You're not a victim, V. Seeing someone doesn't make you any weaker. What you went through was traumatic. It's okay to be broken about it." He said and held me close as I nodded.

"Yeah, I know. Will you go with me though? I...I don't want to be alone with a stranger." I said and looked up at him. "I'll be there no matter what. I'll always be here for you." He said as I nodded and rested my head on his chest so I could listen to his heartbeat.

I never ended up going back to sleep because I was too afraid to have another nightmare. Colby didn't either, even though I told him it would be okay if he fell asleep.

As soon as the sun started to rise I looked up at him. "Can we go make breakfast?" I asked as he grinned and kissed my forehead then nodded.

I got out of bed then looked over to see him getting up without his brace. "Colby! Your back!" I exclaimed as he chuckled. "It's okay, V. I don't need it anymore." He said then started to walk. "O-oh." I said as he took my hand.

"Can you wear it though...for me?" I asked as he frowned slightly. "I promise I'm okay, V. While you were away I went to physical therapy every day. My back is okay." He said and brushed my hair behind my ear.

"Were you wearing it yesterday?" I asked as he shook his head with a laugh. "No. I haven't worn it in a couple days." He said as I nodded. I guess I was just so consumed with myself that I didn't realize he wasn't wearing it.

I would have to start paying more attention.

We went to the kitchen and started pulling out ingredients so we could make the best breakfast possible.

"Do you think we should make pancakes or waffles?" I asked and pursed my lips. "Hmmm. Waffles." Colby said as I nodded. "Good choice." I said then grabbed the waffle maker and plugged it in.

We spent the next hour or so making a shit ton of food. It felt good to get my mind off of the incident but it still felt like someone was watching me.

It felt like someone was taking pictures of my every move, ready to jump me when they could. I knew it was just the paranoia but it felt real.

I felt like I was being watched.

I whipped around, looking around the room as I dropped the box of waffle mix on the ground. "Woah! Are you okay, V?" Colby asked as I looked around, walking towards the window to make sure nobody was there.

"Hey...hey it's okay." Colby said then came over and guided me back to the kitchen. "How do we know?" I asked as he slowly walked me to the island so I could sit down.

"What?" He asked as sat me down. "How do we know that nobody is watching?" I asked and picked at my nails. "I'll go look if it will make you feel better but Peter is in prison, baby. He's not here." He said and caressed my cheek gently.

"How do you know?" I whispered and leaned into his hand. "I don't but I'm gonna go look okay?" He asked as I shook my head. "Don't leave me." I said as he nodded. "Okay...come with me, I'll look though." He said as I nodded and stood up, taking his hand.

Colby led the way towards the backyard, holding my hand firmly. We walked around, checking to make sure nobody was here. It felt ridiculous to do this but Colby was being so patient.

"Okay...I think we're good." Colby said and turned to me as I nodded and looked around. "Sorry." I said as he shook his head. "Don't be. Let's go finish breakfast." He said then kissed my forehead. "Okay." I said then led the way back to the kitchen.

When we got there, everyone was sitting at the table. "There you are! We thought the ghost made breakfast." Sam said with a laugh. "Sorry, we got distracted." I said then went over to make the eggs since everyone was awake now.

"No biggie, this looks delicious." Jake said and grabbed a piece of bacon. "Yeah, you guys really went all out." Corey said as Ki came over to help me. "Need some help?" She asked as I looked down.

"If you want to crack some eggs that would be helpful." I said as she grinned and went to grab a bowl. "I think we should start our little bucket list today. Tara and Kat said they were down." She said as I nodded.

"Can Colby come?" I asked as she laughed slightly. "Of course he can, I don't think he would let me take you without him anyways." She said then looked over at Colby who was now standing next to me.

"Shit." I said then grabbed my chest. "You scared me." I said as he frowned. "Sorry I should have warned you." He said as I shook my head. "No, it's okay. Did you want to come with us today?" I asked as he scrunched his brow.

"Where are you going?" He asked as I looked at Ki. "I don't know, but it's gonna be fun." She said with a shrug as he nodded. "Yeah, I'll come." He said as I turned to grab the eggs Ki cracked. "Great! So it's settled! We're having a girls day...plus Colby." Ki said with a smile and danced around as I cooked the eggs.

We quickly ate breakfast then got ready to go on our little adventure. I had no idea what we were going to do but I knew that it was time to start healing.

I was going to get through this.
