CH 9: it...was a dream

Blue's POV

I felt my lips begin to warm up, I opened my eyes to see...

...RIN KISSING ME?!?!
I melted into the kiss, Rin pulled away, he was covered in burns and scorch marks. I started to tear up at the sight, I couldn't help myself.
"Hey, hey don't cry I'm here now because of you" I looked up to see his infamous toothy grin, I smiled up at him slowly pulling him closer to me for another kiss, his cheeks started to feel warm. (me knowing he was blushing) I started to stroke his tail.
"Blue don't" he spoke, I pouted and put my hands on my lap, he tilted my head up and looked into my eyes. Little did we know that our tails were connected.
"Oh by the way" he whispered into my ear.I hummed in response.
"You have wings, like angel wings"
"Mhm...HUH?!" I blurted out, Rin touched my black and white wings, feeling the feathers between his fingers. My eyes widened as I felt him touch my wings, I ruffled them a little bit to make sure they were real but...

Rin's POV

When I closed my eyes I felt her warm feathery wings in between my fingers but when I opened my eyes...she was gone...the love of my life...gone...
"WHERE IS SHE?!" I yelled my anger taking hold of me.
"I SAID WHERE IS...BLUE!!!!" My flames emerged from my body...

Blue's POV

My eyes fluttered open, I looked around to see my bedroom. I got out of bed and saw a stack of manga i read the title aloud.
"Blue Exorcist..." My eyes filled up with tears realizing that...it was all a dream.
"R-Rin, NO!" I yelled, suddenly someone burst through the door.
"Sweetie are you alright?!" It was my mum, I ran towards her and rested my head on her shoulder sobbing away.
"I, I thought...he was real!" I blurted out, tears clouding my vision. I screamed out as if I was in pain from the agonizing truth...Rin is and will never be real...

*time skip 1 year...*

I got up and out of bed and looked over to the door.
"Rin..." I lightly said while sighing

*flash back*

Blue's POV

I threw myself onto my bed, everything was neat and tidy not for long I thought with a cheek grin plastered on my face.
"I'll be back in a second" Rin spoke as he exited my room, where is he going. My curiosity got the better of me, I followed the voice of the twins, then I found their room just a couple doors down from mine. I peeked through the crack in their door but what I saw amazed me...

*flash back over*

"RIN!!!!" i screamed out

Rin's POV

It's been a week since Blue disappeared but I felt something.
"RIN!!!!" I heard, it was Blue.
"BLUE?!!!" I shouted out, everyone looked at me as if I was crazy...was I?
