*April 2018- One year after Chapter 25*

Grace's POV

"So here's what i was thinking" I walked into the living room in running shorts and a sports bra. "I could skip school today because i don't want to go to the Museum of Modern Art. While i would love to spend the day with Peter in a non-school setting, I don't feel like looking at art i've already seen." Dad looked up from his coffee and looked at Pepper.

"Sure. But you have to come on our run with us" I smiled

"Deal"

"Tony, you can't just let her skip school whenever she wants."

"But i'm not skipping school, i'm skipping a field trip." Pep gave me a look and i smiled.

"Go get dressed for our run" I laughed. I went back to my room and slipped a tank top on and my running shoes. I threw my hair into a ponytail.

"Alrighty, I'm ready"

We made our way, running through central park. Once we got to central park, we started to walk.

"Slow down, slow down. I'll spell it out for you."

"You're totally rambling."

"No, I'm not."

"You lost me"

"Look, you know how you're having a dream, and in the dream you gotta pee."

"Yeah"

"Okay. ANd then you're like, 'Oh my god. There's no bathrooms. What am i gonna do?' 'Oh someone's watching.' 'Oh, i'm gonna go in my pants.'"

"And then you wake up and in real life you actually have to pee?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yes."

"Yeah. Everybody has that" I laughed because Pepper was not having it. I knew she wnated to know where this was going. I wanted to know where this was going.

"Right that's the point I'm trying to make. Apropos of that, last night I dreamt we had a kid."

"You have a kid, me" He shushed me.

"It was so real. We named him after your eccentric uncle. Uh, what was his name."

"Morgan" I answered for Pep.

"Morgan! Morgan."

"So you woke up,"

"Naturally"

"and thought that we were..."

"Expecting"

"Yeah."

"Yes?"

"No"

"I had a dream about it. It was so real."

"If you wanted to have another kid, you wouldn't have done that" I was silently laughing as Pep pointed at Dad's new and improved arc reactor.

"I'm glad you brought this up, 'cause it's nothing. It's just a housing unit for nanoparticles."

"You're not helping your case" I told to him

"No, this is detachable."

"You don't need that."

"I know, i had the surgery. I'm just trying to protect us" He motioned to the three of us. "And future usses and that's it. Just in case there's a monster in the closet. Instead of you know..."

"Shirts?" Dad gave me a looked and i smiled.

"You should have shirts in your closet."

"Yeah. You know what there should be? No more surprises."
