One Month Later:

Since the big announcement of the engagement, Amelia has been spending a lot of time helping Olive. They've been engaged for six months now, and Kelly and Jay were getting too excited and were tired of waiting.

Adam had cleaned up his act a lot. Apologizing to his mother, as well as his family, including Olive, Adam was back on track, but still on thin ice with Hank.

Lately, Amelia had been feeling tired. Brushing it off by thinking it's just something that comes with old age, Amelia didn't think much of it. That was until she started throwing up in the morning.

Not telling anyone, Amelia schedules a private appointment with Sharon, Maggie, and an ob/gyn a week later.

The whole family was heading on a vacation to Hawaii for two weeks. Taking off of work was easy for them, finding a replacement was the hard part.

The boys were doing well with homeschooling, and Amelia had a small studio close to the district for her photography business.

Waking into the front entrance of Med, I head straight to Sharon's office. I don't want Will to know that I'm here, so I try to get there quickly.

Safely making it to Sharon's office, I see her and Maggie waiting. "Let's head down. I've got everything cleaned off. All doctors are busy right now due to a car pile-up earlier."

Nodding to Maggie, the three of us make our way to see Dr. Price. "What if I'm pregnant? What would the kids say? More importantly, what would Hank say?"

I have always wanted to carry, but I don't want to see my nine upset over it. Who knows if Hank even wanted a child!

"I'm sure they will all be alright. And Hank will be happy for you guys. Don't stress, because I know for a fact you're pregnant, I can feel it in my soul"

Thankful for the distraction, I allow Maggie to cheer me up the whole way to the office.

Laying down on the bed, Maggie takes Amelia's phone to take pictures and videos. "We did a rush on that pregnancy test. Congratulations Miss.Green! You're seven weeks pregnant! You're about a little under two weeks shy of being two months."

Looking over to her best friends, Amelia can't help but let the tears fall. She was happy, but she didn't know if her family would be happy. She was older, so she knew that this was a high-risk pregnancy.

Looking back to her doctor, "now, you are in your early forties, so, I want you to take it slow. Try not to stress. You'll be started on prenatal vitamins today. Now, I have to ask these next few questions, or my boss could possibly fire me,"

Laughing, Amelia pays close attention. "Is there a partner in the picture? Or will you be doing this alone?" Thankful for the questions, Amelia answers them honestly, "there's a partner in the picture. He'll definitely be here next time"

Printing off five copies of the sonogram, Amelia placed them into her purse along with the doctor's papers, and the list of medicine she needed to take. Telling her friends goodbye, Amelia promises lunch soon.

Leaving out of the office, Amelia heads to the 21st, praying that Hank had a minute to spare

Waking up the front steps of the 21st district, I try not to be one of the moms who grab their flat stomachs out of caution. So far, I've stopped myself five times.

My stomach isn't naturally flat, it's always poked out. So, you can't tell a difference. Waiting in line to talk to Trudy, Hank comes down the stairs, "Honey, is everything alright?"

Walking over to him, "can we talk in private? Maybe your office?" Nodding to me, he buzzed himself back up and I talk his hand, allowing him to lead me up.

Coming face to face with the unit, I give them a hello and follow hand into his office. Closing his door, Hank also closes the blinds and takes a seat across from me.

"What's bothering you, honey? Is everything okay with the boys?" Trying not to tear up, Amelia sees down her bag and repeatedly tells Hank that she is sorry and that she's lost, thinking that they cannot continue their relationship.

"I haven't felt this way in a long time. I am truly happy, right here with you" I walk over and place my arms around his waist

Rubbing his back, I pull him into my embrace, deciding to just blurt out my secret  "Honey, I'm pregnant"

Smiling at me, Hank brings me closer. "Yeah? This is great news sweetheart! I'm excited for what's to come" sharing a sweet kiss, I can't help but feel like I've betrayed our seven boys.

Erin and Justin would probably be overjoyed, but what would our other seven say? They have never had to compete for attention from me, and now that I'm pregnant, the baby would need my full attention.

"I'm scared, Henry. Yes, I'm over the moon happy that I'll finally get the one thing I've always wanted. But at what cost to everyone else? How would they feel about us actually being together? We've talked about eloping on this vacation, what would the kids say after that? Would they think that we hid this from them?" I can't help but try and pull myself away from Hank.

But, he wasn't having that. Keeping me in his arms, Hank rubs my back to calm me down.

"They won't see it the same" I try not to cry, but I can't sit here and hurt the one man who's shown me true love. I can't put my guard up against him when I know he'll always be in my corner.

"Look me in the eyes and tell me you don't feel something, that you aren't in love" not meeting his gaze, I look out of his window and to the city of Chicago.

"I can't do that, I'm head over heels for you"

Sharing a sweet moment, I gently leave my fiancé's arms. "I brought you something. To seal the deal and make it official"

Handing Hank the sonogram, I sit on his lap. "Oh honey, look at our little nugget" kissing his cheek, "I know right, and let's hope nugget does not stick! I'd rather my child not have a nickname pertaining to food"

Tapping the sonogram to his desk, Hank just sits and looks at the picture. Looking up to me, he happily placed a kiss on my naturally round stomach "you know this means I'm putting you on house arrest right?"

"I expected nothing less from you, Henry, it's cute how protective you are"
