Nicholas and I had gotten to the store, but unfortunately, it was no longer there. To make matters worse, we were cornered and had to fend off the walkers before eventually being surrounded by a dumpster. I was trying to calm down and figure out something, so I sort of got out of this situation. But Nicholas wasn't helping. He seemed to be staring aimlessly until I grabbed his attention by grabbing his shoulders.

"Nicholas, hey, we can get out of this" I said, but it was too late.

"Thank you" Nicholas replied, earning a confused look. Then, it all made sense as he pulled out his gun and shot himself in the head. I assumed he planned to sacrifice himself, but there was one issue: his body fell on top of me, taking me down with him.

Upon impact, I groaned from the concrete, and then I looked above and saw them tearing apart Nicholas's corpse. I didn't know where to go, and I thought about taking myself, but I realized there was a dumpster next to me. I used all my strength and crawled under the dumpster.

The following morning, the walkers were all gone. I had stood up all night until the coast was clear and crawled out. The sun was bright, and I couldn't quite get adjusted to the change of scenery. That's when I heard a young voice on the roof say, "HEADS UP" and dropped a water bottle. I wasn't expecting it, and it ended up falling on the ground, causing a leak in the plastic.

"I said Head's up" the girl said before walking off. I got a better look and noticed it was Enid.

"Enid?" I called. But she had already left, so I picked up what was left of the water bottle and drank it. Afterward, I found a way up to where she was at.

I woke up and washed off first thing in the morning before heading to Hope's crib. It seems I was the last one in the house to wake up today. I picked up her and walked to the kitchen to feed her. Once she was fed, I took a seat and watched her curiously play with her toys before hearing a knock on the front door.
